“Great food at a reasonable price. The location is convenient as it's on the main road. Busy street but you can usually find a spot to slot into without too much trouble. Always nice and clean with a few tables and chairs inside. Friendly staff and a very good variety of food. The egg mayo with crispy bacon and salad sandwich is particularly good. Highly recommend this excellent little sandwich shop.”

“Burgers ready within 10 minutes. Crispy fries where you can actually taste the truffle. Loved the complexity of the burger fillings- this is a burger with all the works. Almost Famous used to be my favourite burger place, but Digin's Hut beats it. Benches outside while you wait for your takeaway. £12 for the 'Rate my Takeaway beef and £10 for the pulled pork burger (which is probably my favourite), Doughnut was thick and heavy.”

“Just had breakfast at this gem of a place. We had a lovely welcome on arrival. I don't eat beans and asked for mine without, they gave me fresh tomato as a substitute which was lovely. You can have a free hot drink top up if you want. Breakfast was super tasty and just what we wanted. I mentioned when we were leaving that I'd saved half a sausage for the dog. The owner called me and gave me 2 sausages to take home. How kind! Definitely worth a visit. Thanks so much, we will be back!”

“My first visit to this place has I have heard so much about it so on first impressions easy to travel to also plenty of parking then nice welcome large shop area or waiting area the staff were super smart also very friendly I can see my two young niece n nephew loving this place has it was very spacious with a great view also where we sat you could see the animals outside so it was a nice distraction but the food the full breakfast was spot on the service spot on the price you can’t complain to sit in a nice warm relaxing atmosphere really impressed .The farm animals were an added bonus”

“Saturday 29th November 2025 Today I used this cafe next to forster Square train station This cafe is well run and with a extra 2 sausages the entire items on this Breakfast come to 11.70 Including Coffee it is still the same price Good staff clean eating area all adds to the grand experiance of the place”

“The new owner Pakeezah, has introduced a fantastic menu that, in my opinion, suits everyone. I had the best Turkish Eggs that I have tasted. Perfectly cooked poached eggs with just the right amount of spice. The coffee is great, and I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. The cafe has had a freshen up, with new seating and tables inside and plenty of seating outside for the finer weather. Dog friendly, at the Bowling Hall Road entrance to Bowling Park, with plenty of free parking nearby.”

“I had a great time at Josef K. Cafe! Very friendly staff, and the owner makes amazing homemade cakes. Their cake and coffee deal was fabulous, and the ambiance was perfect for chilling and chatting. “Great spot for a spot of dinner. I had homemade cottage pie with onion and cheese mash topping, lashings of gravy, chips and peas! Absolutely massive portions. The cafe had a lively atmosphere with plenty of locals and tradesmen coming in for coffee and butties. The staff were brilliant; polite, courteous and very accommodating. If you're looking for great quality food at a reasonable price you can't go far wrong with Care @ 19!”

“As in the area popped in for breakfast. Was pleasantly surprised large breakfast as pictured £7.00 was cooked fresh and everything was hot unlike a lot of cafes. Sausage budget however was edible. I would visit again if in area”

“Always a great atmosphere here; generally (and unsurprisingly) busy, but we’ve never yet failed to find a table. Really good layout with plenty of space. Dogs are made very welcome (with their own little treats corner), but there is a dog-free area for those that prefer it. Food is great, served quickly and delivered with a smile. Staff are fab and super-friendly. From the menu, a special shout out must go to the eggs bennies - our regular favourite - but the avocado toast and the mushrooms are also delicious! Really good range of drinks - especially very good coffees, and you can easily walk (or cycle) off your meal by stepping out of the back door straight onto the canal path for a little wander. We are not cyclists but will continue to be regular walk in visitors nevertheless. This place is a big favourite.”

“All I wanted was a soup to go . If you have ever requested this , from anywhere . It's not also available. Even rarely. There was tomato and chilli which I have. With brown bread and plenty of butter. Just how i like it . Or chicken and sweet corn . Again another top soup I would choose. Then the sweet slice . Mint cream . I had to get it. And the display then just shone. Everything looking more delicious then the next . I ended up choose a honey comb , road or something and a chocolate covered flap jack . And of course coffee to go”

It’s the perfect spot for a cuppa and a sweet treat. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. It’s definitely worth a visit in its own right such a lovely spot. We stopped here as part of a canal walk from Rodley to Apperley Bridge, and it was a real highlight. Highly recommended!”

“Class cafe around the Center of Ilkley, food is handmade from my knowledge, and drinks are always nice. Staff are friendly and is a nice atmosphere, however did wittiness a bit of a tiff between two groups of women trying to get me and my friends seats when we were trying to leave aha. But all round always been a great experience.”
