It was a shame I don't live local otherwise I would be there everyday. Can't recommend enough and will be visiting next time im in Halifax which may end up being sooner rather than later to have a good lunch :) super friendly lady that works there too. It did only seem to be a takeaway sandwich shop rather than somewhere you eat in.”

The music was good provided by Steve along with a quiz, which if you wasn't doing the quiz you wouldn't have noticed as it wasn't imposing. The regulars were as friendly as ever. All in all a great visit, highly recommend. It isn't the Ritz, just a really good local pub.”
