“I wanted a live edge slab for a coffee table I'm making. I searched around and contacted a few companies. Chris at the Sheffield Timber Company got back to me very quickly and was very knowledgeable. I went down a couple of days later, the slabs we had discussed were ready to look at and he also showed me around the other stock and we had a good chat about timber, work and projects. The piece I chose needed cutting down which was done straight away and the price was very reasonable, it's spot on for what I need. I will definitely be going again.”

“Amazing experience, came for a key cut and was extremely cheap. I am a regular customer here, I was very impressed and shocked to believe the cheap prices of the key cut, i brought my household key and it was £4. Recommended to come for a visit, was very tidy and had everything I needed. Amazing staff, and will come back!”

“We visited Roxy on a quiet Tuesday night. We booked on for crazy pool and the staff member said we could do as many rounds as we pleased. There was only one other couple up there. We loved the crazy pool course and had a couple rounds. We even ended up staying to do ice-free curling. Again there was no time limit and we got to make full use of the space. Would definitely recommend. Only downside is both the crazy pool and ice-free curling was up a long set of stairs. Hopefully there is a lift for people who need it as the toilets were also up here.”

“Great theatre , not seen a bad production here and Saturday nights performance of A Christmas Carol was fantastic. All actors were brilliant, led by a great Mr Scrooge . The children were excellent too. We enjoyed the singing incorporated in the play , a real festive night to begin Christmas 2025 !”

“Didn't know what to expect... First timers with Ethiopian food. Warmly welcomed, food explained & very tasty. No cutlery, eat with the copious Ethiopian bread & fingers. Ask about heat/spiciness if concerned - mild dishes available. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again.”

The corner sofa is comfortable and very well looking in our living room. The salesperson was very helpful and patient. The waiting delivery time was not too long and arrived even early than expected. From the beginning till the end, everything was fine. They came on the agreed time, set up our sofa and cleaned after themselves. I definitely will recommend them and will purchase from them again!”

“I have been a big fan of Glass Onion for a while now (half of my clothing is from there). Generally great vibes, love when companies push for more environmentally friendly ways of consumerism. But the reason I wanted to write this review is because of the excellent costumer service provided my Sam. I have been looking for a baggy leather jacket for ages and for about a year I did't find anything that fit me quite right. When Sam heard this he was helping me find one, and he went above and beyond and had a look at the back and picked out a couple out for me and found me the perfect one. “Personal favourite! Always a delight to visit any of their branches. Reasonably priced coffees and plenty of seasonal deals and loyalty bonuses if you sign up to their mailing list. Food is excellent everytime I've been and the staff are super helpful and friendly no matter how busy it is! Seating areas are really cool (especially the booths at fit Fitzalan Square) and there's board games to play! No better place for a coffee in Sheffield! Looking forward to trying their new Leeds branch, but I know it will be fantastic!”

“I used to have an Unlimited card at Cineworld before COVID as I hadn't discovered this cinema by then. I went to the Light for the 1st time around 2 years ago, and have never looked back since. I love the vibe - can chill in the relaxing bar area, and get a pizza for tea (2 for £15 on a Tuesday too!) and have a couple of beers. Occasionally I'll get nachos too as a treat. In May, I upgraded to the Premiere card here and every visit has been absolutely spot on! My only comment would be better visibility of mystery screenings - I used to do them at Cineworld and had no idea until today that there's a mystery screening in a couple of days. Would definitely love to do one in the future. Looking forward to the next visit!”

“I love this play centre. We often visit for play or classes, kids love it, lots of areas to play and the staff are always helpful. We recently visited for my son's 3rd birthday, we chose the early bird option and it was such good value, the kids had a great time. I would definitely recommend a party and play here.”

“Probably the best East-Asian food I've eaten at a restaurant. Excellent service and the food came promptly. The chef and owner explained different points on the menu in a very clear manner and gave great recommendations. The food itself was brilliant, the best part was that everything is halal since they don't use any pork and only use halal meat. The atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent. We were actually the only ones there at the time. I personally was a big fan of all the paintings hung up on the walls. The owner even explained the cultural significance behind some of them and what they meant. Overall a 10/10 experience. Would recommend to anyone thinking of going there and I'd definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again.”

“My favourite Sheffield record shop. The regular guy that I assume owns the shop is very knowledgeable and you get a proper record shopping experience here. They seem to get the best used stock, and they have a large new vinyl section. The owner is also willing to order in new albums specifically for you, which is increasingly rare nowadays, and their returns policy is reasonable. Would recommend!”

“Fast service, all the staff are very kind and listen to what you ask for and try their best to accommodate you. They provide water or a hot drink if you would like one, and they are happy to help with whatever you need, e.g. provide a phone charger. My nails were done really well, i asked if they could do something similar to a reference photo i had and they did it perfectly, costing £45. I will definitely come back when I need infills doing!”
