“I am quite impressed by this place, large and well laid out store. They cater for all types of pets small and large. Good selection of treats and food, plus toys equipment like leads, collers etc. The quality of stuff is very good, and the prices are very reasonable. Staff and owners are a friendly and helpful bunch, nothing is to much trouble. There is good free parking outside, and good access for disabled, with plenty of room inside to move around.”

“This is my usual pet shop for cat food. It must be a pet shop thing but like.others the staff are all just so nice and helpful. They also had a fab rewards system for pet food, and even before that, they are competitive with price and options. Animals are also looked after well.”

“I mainly only use this shop for aquatic supplies and fish. Prices are good parking is good but some times the tanks look like they have been forgotten for a few days it can be off putting to see dead fish in so many tanks.”

“The RSPCA Halifax was really helpful and understanding about the dog we had chosen. The staff helped us chose the correct training leads and the harness for her. They explained to us how to look after her feeding pattern as she was underweight. Also if we had any problems they offered afrercare all we had to do was ring them up. Most professional. We would recommend them.”

“I’ve taken my 2 dogs to the groom room in Halifax for quite some time now and always had positive experiences. Since my oldest dog passed away I took my 1 year old dog Minnie and Scott did her groom, it’s the first time we had met Scott . He did the full works bath,nail clip and groom . Her fur was very over grown and due to her cross breed Jack Russell/pom - she’s not the easiest to get right as she’s part wire haired but also has the fluffy ears and tail of a Pom. When I picked her up I was very pleased with the job he had done! He used a seaweed shampoo which gave her such lovely soft finish to her fur. The way he had trimmed her was perfect . Very vigilant and patient , and he took great care of her and understood her nervous temperament. I highly recommend .”

“Absolutely amazing shop, have shopped there for about 2 and half years now for my dogs raw food, supplements and all other treats for my dogs. Our dogs love a trip down they always get loads of cuddles and even get some treats from vic. They always stock the best of the best from vet bedding to their own brand leads harness and collars, raw food, kibble, toys, supplements and all your other pet accessories. If ever in doubt vic will always reassure and give the best advice on whatever she can help with. Would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone. And not to mention vic always goes above and beyond for all her customers and always takes part in community events like the k9 party in the park.”

“Such a great service I love that it is easy to book walks and they are very flexible which is perfect for shift workers. They have a back up walker if your walker is off for any reason so your dog doesn't go without a walk. My dog loves his walks with his walker Kathryn and I look forward to seeing the photos they post afterwards.”

“Amy is our usual groomer for our terrier mix breed, she is fantastic with him, bonus that he even lets her clean his teeth (we wouldnt stand a chance) and she knows that he doesnt tolerate his front legs being shaved so she hand cuts them for him. All the staff are amazing, polite and happy to answer any questions you have. They even make sure that our doggo has the groom room to himself due to him being dog reactive. He always comes out with a happy tail after his groom looking and smelling fresh. 10/10 recommend for anyones dogs grooming needs!”

“Really good supermarket. The atmosphere is relaxed, perfect for shopping. It's clean and has bright lights to see the produce clearly. Everything looks fresh and clean which is a top priority for me. Has some good offers and the customer service is excellent. Also offer delivery which is a bonus. Thats why its 5 stars for me. Best Asian supermarket I've shopped at.”

“An incident happened today in store in the self serve area where a lady was putting her purchase in her shopping bag and the bag broke, The poor lady burst into tears I consoled her as she just broke her bottle of champagne and that was the straw that broke the camels back. And this lovely sainsbury lady staff member came over told her not to worry and replaced the damaged item. I want Sainsbury management to know she was brilliant caring and consoled the lady customer. Verbal bouquet to this lovely staff member. And to sainsbury management you need to put a little something in her Christmas stocking. As a on looker who deals with customer for years she was exceptional. Hence why I'm writing this.”
