βHighly recommended. Very professional and courteous folk.β
βWhile this is his psychotherapy page, I couldnβt recommend Andrew and his counselling courses enough. As a tutor he is so passionate and it shows in how he teaches, I find his approach very engaging, vocational and professional, I never truly enjoyed education until coming here and coming here is the reason I want to continue with level 4. I completed my level 2 and level 3 here and had great, continuous support throughout such as the many tutorials (1:1) we have to check up on our well-being and progress. (As a bonas, the space is beautiful and cosy!) While Andrew doesnβt teach level 4, if he did, I wouldn't hesitate to stay with him! I can also tell that he is an amazing psychotherapist!β
βNew Road has a warm, friendly therapeutic environment. I canβt recommend it more highlyβ
βAfter three years with Dr. Christina Palmer, I can finally write this properly. I started seeing her when I was completely overwhelmed. Stressed, anxious, and running on fumes. Iβd had enough of therapists who just sit there nodding while you spill your guts. Christina isnβt like that. She actually thinks. She listens, remembers, and works with you like a real person, not just a textbook case. She's helped me unravel a load of trauma and situational stress, but more importantly, sheβs helped me change. Slowly, and with work. But honestly, I didnβt think that was possible before. What I really respect is that she doesnβt just rely on talking therapy. She looks at the bigger picture. Weβve done EMDR, weβre doing neurofeedback, and sheβs always considering what will actually help, not just what ticks a box. The staff are great too. Friendly, no attitude, no weird energy. Just calm, kind people who know what theyβre doing. Iβve still got work to do. But Iβm not the same person who walked in three years ago. Iβm more grounded, more clear, and Iβve got hope again. If youβre barely holding it together but still believe, even a tiny bit, that things could be better, go see her. Sheβs one of the good ones.β
βI have found John to be warm, empathic and he has really helped me learn how to manage my feelings. I had a really positive experience and would highly recommend him to anyone experiencing any difficulties in their lives. He makes everything so much clearer and you feel able to achieve whatever you set your mind too. Thank you so muchβ
βI went here last minute to get a Yellow Fever vaccination and got an appointment very easily. This was Β£65 (inclusive of consultation & certificate), which was much cheaper than the Sussex Travel Clinic. This travel clinic is part of the Matlock Pharmacy, which is very clean and the customer service was really good; I felt like I was in really safe hands! Would definitely recommend.β
βQuick, easy to use and convieniantβ
βI cannot recommend this service enough. They are professional and caring, my therapist is the perfect match and the rate is affordable for me.β
βI wasn't registered with this vet, but took my dog in for an emergency when she took a turn. She sadly passed the following day, but every single member of staff I dealt with was completely professional, empathetic and tactfully honest. I'm not sure her name, but in particular the vet who conducted the final prodecure with my dog was excellent, with an excellent manner, extremely kind and caring both to me and my pet. This practice is staffed by people who genuinely care about animals.β
βI went to Blackberry clinic this morning for my first time getting earwax removed. Rachel was amazing, explained everything and put me fully at ease. Great results too, worth every penny. Thanks Rachel!β
βIan really helped me through some tough times. His combination of empathy and listening and bits of neuro-science and psychology really worked for me. I felt very supported and discovered some strengths I didn't know I had.β
βAbsolutely brilliant, i cant fault the care they have given my autistic sonβ
βTumble Tots is fun and engaging for all ages....Max did Tumble Tots from 0-2. His climbing and coordination vastly improved...β
βHave now had 3 treatments, 2 with Jayne, who is great! She makes you feel welcome and comfortable at all times. Modern & Extremely clean environment. Would definitely recommend to friend or family!!β
βWalked in with no idea what I needed but pain in my legs and feet. I didn't catch her name but the woman that I spoke to was extremely helpful and set about using the machine to measure how I stand and walk and talking about my history and where the pain was. 20 mins later I walked out with a pair of very reasonably priced custom moulded orthotics which have literally been the best purchase I've made this year, the effects are fantastic. My legs and feet feel better already and my back is also improving - something I didn't even attribute to my footwear. Thanks for helping me out! One thing I would say is that the men's shoes range is very limited and not what I'd describe as fashionable (for under 60s anyway).β
