βLewis has been attending Jiu Jitsu classes for a few months. He enjoys the sport and he is looking forward to the next classes. It gives my son a lot of confidence and discipline. The classes have a great atmosphere and good communication with his friends. Ivam is a very good and friendly sensei. Thank you very much for the very good teaching and professional attitude! Once again thanks Ivam!β
βPassed first time with Mark. He was very patient and clear with his instructions and was so friendly, I really looked forward to my lesson each week. Mark was also super supportive and really does care, he seemed genuinely happy and proud for me when I passed. I would 100% recommend him to everyone! Thank you Mark!β

βBought a wetsuit , boots and a new leash - itβs been a while and wetsuit technology has moved on ; Not to fear, a really helpful & enthusiastic young man was on hand to talk me through the array of advancements, understood my needs and hooked me up with kit thatβs spot on - his obvious experience shining through. Once home with my purchases, sadly not everything was smelling of roses , however thatβs when a retailer really shows its metal - a brief website βchatβ and the issue was sorted , no quibbles - thatβs a shop youβll want to do business with again - and again - and again - Great service isnβt difficult , sadly many donβt manage it - Boardriders do - give them a goβ
βAnnie was superb at providing the best advice and support for returning to sport after a knee injury. She is extremely knowledgeable and gave cost-effective recommendations on a knee strap, a comprehensive exercise regime and rehabilitation advice. These have given me the confidence and ability to return to sport.β
βIβve been seeing Georgie for years for any injuries I have. Her wide knowledge in sports injuries as well as Pilates expertise means I have always got an amazing treatment plan. I would not choose anyone else to help get me back in my running trainers!β
βWhat an experience, couldn't recommend enough!! Amazing staff and service, we all had the most amazing time and cannot wait to go back! Would rate higher if I could! Adam and Liam were brilliant, couldn't of asked for more. Thank you to all at Brighton Boating.β
βExcellent coaching and training, a great, modern facility, a great community and team atmosphere and excellent kids classes. I've trained a many BJJ gyms around the world and Grand Union Brighton is certainly world class. Cesar and Mario are expert coaches at the highest level who make sure training is fun, safe, challenging and rewarding. There is a great mix of levels and styles in the people who train there but there is a consistent culture of respect, friendship and mutual progression. Very highly recommended for beginners and experts alike.β
βI joined when I was 16 and since then I've kept going. I go even when I'm not initially in the mood because I know I will end up enjoying it even on a bad day. The class presents a good physical challenge and it has made me much stronger, faster and more flexible. Also it's very fun to get beaten up by black belts! The people who go are all very nice and great to hang out with. The instructor Mr Mayes is very professional and experienced. Definitely the best martial arts class in Brighton. Additionally, now I can also walk on rocks because my feet have become a lot harder. One of the best ways to do fitness and way more fun than going to the gym. 100% recommended.β
βMy children had SUCH a good time at hove lagoon doing the kids activity week and introduction to sailing courses. For the younger ones the intro to sailing is a great way to get them on the water, and my older child has done that for the last 2 years before moving on to the full activity week this year. Itβs such a fun and action packed week giving them a chance to try out a whole range of activities including SUP, windsurfing, wakeboarding, sailing and kayaking as well as fun games and activities like raft building, donut rides on the zip line and treasure hunts. The team are amazing at keeping the children engaged and happy, even when the weather is less than ideal! Iβd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something fun for the kids in the summer holidays.β
βThis organisation not only betters itβs local community but is also a monument to the philosophies of martial arts. Completely epic club. Terrific coaches, super friendly welcoming. And they host exceptional inter-club. Shout out to Sam Byron-Winters, Christina Jo and Jack Davies. Superb team. Would recommend Nam Yang to anyone.β
βYes it is a very lovely gym where I feel very sure I am okay with the workout etc etcβ
βGreat climbing gym. The staff are lovely and the facilities are good. It is different from Boulder Brighton. Id say the training area is better. The bouldering has improved since the change of ownership and is now worth a trip for every reset. The new board is also very nice.β
βGreat way to spend an hour or two. We were a stag group of 12, and I only spoke to really helpful people both during the planning of it, and on the day itself. Really enthusiastic and helpful customer service, and the course itself is really well kept (if not challenging on a couple of holes). Cracking views on some of the holes were a nice surprise too. Would highly recommend.β
βWe had a great time at the Longhill Sports Centre for the Foot Darts! Well worth the time and money, the coach made it fun and defo worth the visit!β
βWhat a dreamy studio Flow State Hove is! So bright, spacious and calming. The classes Iβve been to so far have each been beautiful flows, guided with love and passion. It feels so exciting and uplifting to be in classes that are based on embodiment, somatic movement, intuitive Flow, soulful slow flow, and more delightful movement - I love Flow State Hove for this! The teachers and growing community are friendly and kind - so feels like a home away from home. Thank you Deanne & Callie for opening this awe-inspiring studio in Hove!β
βFiona is hands down the best yoga instructor Iβve ever had. Her charisma, passion, and deep knowledge made the class truly special. I really appreciated how she took the time to help me improve my posture and ensure I was getting the most out of each pose. Iβm definitely looking forward to coming back for more!" Letiβ
βGreat dancing school, my daughter has been going to WWSD for the last 5 years and loves it. Wendy and all the teachers are so lovely, would highly recommend this school.β
βWet wet wet is the best swim school in all of Brighton! My kids love it here and have become strong and confident swimmers! The teachers are amazing and very attentive! My kids canβt wait to go to their lessons! If I could give this place more stars I would! Only Good things to say about this company and the owner Bryony! Sheβs absolutely lovely and always there to give a helping hand if I have any questions!β
βWhen I started ballet as a 40 year old adult I assumed I would find a class in which we would just have a bit of fun and not really learn much and not be challenged. How wrong I was. At Brighton Ballet School vocational students and adults are treated the same. We are challenged to work hard, to push ourselves, to find the best of ourselves and to never accept the words "I can't". Taking exams is an wonderful added extra which allows us to see how far we have come in our dancing. And as well as all this - we also have fun and make new friends. If you just want to muck around for an hour then I'd suggest other places. But if you wish to have fun, get fit and strong and unleash your inner ballet dancer then this school is for you.β
βI signed up for the accessible boxing classes with Kieran green whose a good one to one coach, the rest of the gym guys all so welcoming ,β
βI strongly recommend Aquanauts!! My daughter (5 year old) started classes here around 2 months ago and she was really scared of the water, now swimming has become her favourite class and she gets very excited about her progress. Sarah is an amazing teacher, I could notice my daughter made a great connection with her and she really enjoys her lessons as she is having fun as well!! Thank youβ
βRemember going here in the 70,s was great and pleased still goingβ
βThe 2 years studying at Roedean is the highlight of my life.β
βThis is best leisure center for Brighton even without a swimming pool. It has gym, indoor-outdoor tennis courts, modernized gym, football-running field, many squash courts, many special classrooms, sauna, a pub and even climbing wallβ¦. Some more maybe Iβm not aware. Big free parking space. Staff very friendly and problem solver. Clean, warm and not annoying busy. Open till 10 pm. What else; go and try for free! They have plenty options for membership. Go for it youβll not regret it!!!β
βRecently joined this gym & feel it is the perfect space for anyone who is just starting out and is a little anxious. Has everything you need, everyone who I have come into contact with inside the gym has been friendly and you feel welcome. It is not the most advanced gym but I wouldnβt let that put you off as it has various cardio and weight machinery. Overall very satisfied & great for the community. In addition, lots of activities seem to be going on for kids so great way to get the time to actually attend the gym for busy parents. Look forward to trying some classes next.β
βI have worked online with Marc for at least 6 years. His ability to "see you" and communicate through the screen is astounding, and I have experienced more depth and connection with my body through his teaching than in most in-person classes. His professional care and generosity, as well as his commitment to the essence and journey of yoga, continues to guide me onward. Thank you, Marc.β
βLovely people to work with as a company, well supported as host family also communication is open and transparentβ
