“The best experience I've had in years. Warm, welcoming instructors who are also extremely patient and not lacking in a sense of humour! Have learnt loads already and looking forward to many years of dancing to come because of the few short weeks that Eric has been my teacher. Thank you”
“I absolutely love Bristol hippodrome. Beautiful venue, helpful staff and so brilliant being able to see West End shows. Went yesterday to see Moulin Rouge. Good bits about this show: the set was phenomenal, gorgeous sumptuous costumes, loved the elephant and the windmill. Cast vibrant, leads good. Not so good bits about this show: if you're expecting,as I did,to hear the same music from the film, then be prepared for disappointment. The songs from the film are iconic to the film and I had thought they'd keep them all. However,Lady Gaga and Katy Perry songs just didn't do it for me or my husband. We are huge fans of the film and so looked forward to this. Quite honestly, the new songs just jarred. Roxanne was the highlight for me and in the original film but too many mash ups of other songs just left me feeling disappointed. If you haven't seen the film, this is a fabulous show,if you are going as a film fan of Moulin Rouge be prepared to see it is not the same. Having said that,we are really lucky to have such a fantastic venue on our doorstep and I will continue to support it.”

“My daughter loves being a part of Bristol Russian Ballet's Youth Company. Their training, performance opportunities, care and kindness has been exemplary.”
“Highly recommended.. my daughter been going here 5years now doing multiple classes ballet, contemporary dance, modern jazz, core & stretch, Musical theatre & being part of the competition team still going strong looks forward to every class and loves it.. Miss Candice is passionate about her students, caring looks after each students individual level & needs.”
“Amanda is a wonderfully patient and accommodating teacher. She strikes just the right balance between structuring classes so children develop and keeping things relaxed and fun. Mandy also puts a huge amount of effort into organising everything to make life easy for parents, from uniform to keeping class times the same as children progress so we’re not constantly juggling different after school activities. Our daughter is so much happier with Mandy than at her previous ballet school.”
“Lovely ballet and tap dancing school. Children can start from 18 months and progress through the classes and start ballet exams when they are 7+ Miss Daisy is lovely and teaches the classes for the Bristol area. Reasonably priced. My Preschooler has so much fun as the terms are themed for the younger children.”
“I would definitely recommend BSPA. My daughter is a student there. She absolutely loves it. She has been enrolled since it moved location to Warmley. It is so convenient and parking is very easy. Amanda, Sam, Sophie and Chloe are brilliant teachers. They have really increased her confidence and ability in acting and singing. She has private singing lessons with Amanda who has increased her range and repertoire, and has just started piano lessons with Chloe, which she is really enjoying.”
“My daughter has attended Keynsham Stagecoach since she was 6 years old, and is now 12, she looks forward every weekend to it. The teachers are wonderful, supportive and fun, the shows are of a high standard and there are good opportunities to take exams. Highly recommend.”

“Whether you have danced before or you're relatively new to dance, Ballet Bristol is a warm and welcoming company. The teachers and dancers are very friendly and I felt at home and made friends straight away. Dancing at local hospitals and nursing homes has been a real treat, you really feel like you're giving something back while enjoying yourself.”
“Wonderful experience in summer holiday club!”
“Wow! What an amazing camp, from aerial tricks to dance routines and arts and crafts the day is filled with so much to do. My daughter loved every second and can’t wait to go back. Jodie and her team made the day so much fun and kept us updated throughout the day with videos and photos. A brilliant camp and highly recommended to anyone who wants to try something different, we will definitely be returning!!”
“We experienced the most wonderful service having my daughters first pointe shoes fitted. The staff were so thorough and professional. We also got some soft (normal) ballet shoes and they were fitted perfectly too. We live a distance from Dancewell, but I will definately be returning, as it's worth the journey to have such a great service.”
“A great little theatre with steeply tiered seating, meaning you get an excellent view.”
“Sometimes I feels like we forget how lucky we are to have a professional dance school in our village. Once again you bought a West End level of professionalism to our local theatre. Every step was in time, every move synchronised , every line delivered to perfection. It is one thing singing a song , and boy did they sing, it is another to convey the story at the same time. I had the pleasure of joining “the team” for a short time. From my perch in the gods, it was a true delight to see the self confidence grow in each performer. Through tech and dress rehearsals right up to that final performance, a standing ovation that just would not stop (you have no idea how much that standing ovation means to the team). It’s more than an amazing performance, you teach our children to work as a team, to handle the unexpected with poise and precision, to remain calm and carry on. You support listening and focus, skills constantly eroded by tools like this. This filters into everyday life. You can pick out the children who you nurture at school award events - they hold their heads high, unafraid of the stage. You see them in town giving way and holding doors open whilst others barge through. This production has enriched our family. Our Alexa’s and minds repeating the tunes (constantly!). The Queens are the talk of the dinner table , each of their stories researched and retold. Not only the talk of our house but the school run, supermarket and high street! People humming the songs and cars with windows open pumping out the tunes. Your impact has been far and wide. Congratulations Team The South West School of Dance you truly are nurturing the stars of the future. You give our kids your all and we appreciate it. Enjoy your summer, ready for the new academic year! The Vincent Family”
“We can't praise the school highly enough, my daughter has been attending for 9 years and absolutely loves her dance lessons. The teachers are professional, dedicated and take time to get to know the children, whilst delivering lessons which are fun and engaging. My daughter enjoys the balance of discipline and exam preparation along with the outstanding whole school shows. If you're looking for a professional dance school, look no further.”
“Heidi offers supportive & friendly classes in a wide range of dance styles & the opportunities to pass dance exams & perform in shows means my daughter is constantly learning & challenging herself. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!”
