“We went for a gender scan and wellbeing check up at 16 weeks and had an amazing experience. The staff were all welcoming and friendly and shared in our excitement. We got all out scan pictures digitally, two printed and the heartbeat inside a teddy bear for a very small and reasonable fee. Would highly recommend!”
“I was an NHS patient at Care Fertility Bath in 2023-2024, and I had a wonderful experience. All the nurses, doctors, embryologists, receptionists - everyone was kind, understanding & informative, and the clinic itself is a welcoming place. We had one round of ICSI IVF and two embryo transfers, the second being successful. The process was really quick once we got started, I know the timings depend very much on the patients and how busy the clinic is etc. so maybe we just got lucky, but I was pregnant within 9 months of our first appointment. The care before, during and after my treatment was great, I really didn't know what to expect when we went for our first appointment but everything went so much more smoothly than I anticipated. It's a strange situation to find yourself in, we were advised to take it one step at a time which was the best advice, and I was always made to feel comfortable. No procedures were painful and everything was discussed with me clearly before going ahead. I would recommend this clinic and I would return there in the future.”

“I cannot thank the whole team enough. At the start of this journey I was a very nervous patient with a fear of all things medical, but I was determined that I wanted to be a mum. The whole team have been nothing but supportive and caring throughout. From the moment I stepped through the door of every appointment Kat was the most warming welcome. Always knowing me, my partner and our situation (as well as my favourite drink ready to be made!). Emily guided us through all my medication and explained where we were at in the journey expertly, answering my 101 questions and reassuring me that I was doing great. Maxine performed my ultrasounds with a laugh and a smile, making the whole experience reassuring every time. The biggest shout-out to my lead nurse Ana! Our journey hasn't been smooth, but she has a fountain of knowledge and experience I cannot value enough. She made the weight of the experience feel lighter. I cannot thank her enough for the support she gave us throughout our journey. Now I start my pregnancy journey with the NHS I am sad to be discharged from the clinics care. I would happily stay the full 9 months if I could! Cannot recommend the team enough, each and every one is doing an amazing job every day! Thank you all!”

“I was lucky enough to give birth to my first child at Cossham birth centre last May. All of the midwives and staff went above and beyond to make the experience as relaxing and comfortable as possible. I gave birth naturally with no drugs, spent basically the entire time in the tub and gave birth to my baby in the water which is exactly what I wanted. I gave birth at 4pm and we were allowed to go home at midnight that same day. The rooms are a mix between a hotel and hospital, it's such a nice atmosphere in there. I have heard they may be closed or at risk of closing at this would be such a shame. It's an incredible building to give birth in and I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you so much to all the staff there, you're all amazing! Xx”
“First-time parents with complicated birth. The midwives could not have been more outstanding. A lot of the staff have recently qualified yet (except for asking) you'd never know. The teaching here must be amazing. Yes, there can be a lot of waiting until you are seen, but do you really want to spend your taxes on always having staff sitting idle in case you arrive? Best medical treatment ever. Let's keep the NHS well supported.”
“I had my first born c section here and had a wonderful experience. All the staff we came across were incredible. The midwives were incredibly supportive and helpful with breast feeding support during our 2 day/2night stay there.”
“I've spent more time than I'd like at the RUH, but never had a bad experience. Special thanks to the IBD department, urology, maternity, and the team on Robin Smith ward. All the doctors, nurses and midwives I've dealt with across all departments have been so helpful and reassuring. This hospital is a credit to the NHS.”
“Honestly best experience I have had at an a&e. Claudia Rodgers was so kind and knowledgeable and put my mind at ease with my situation. From the receptionist to the service, thank you for your great support!”
“Receptionist was efficient and personable. She was in training but I can see she will be an asset. The Dr Maynard was brilliant - caring and understanding.”
“As an Aussie who had just moved to Bristol, Bridge View Southville was my first experience with the NHS. I have found any flaw with this surgery is something completely out of their hands. They are incredibly helpful, as timely as they can be, and do an excellent job managing my health in all kinds of ways. My special thanks to Dr Kulpoo who may be the best and most compassionate doctor that I have ever seen in my whole life. 5 stars.”
