βI went in for a pregnancy MOT with Rosie Cardale and have rarely, if ever, had better care. We discussed my history and my current back and pelvic pain, treatment was gentle but effective, and her advice and prescribed exercises were excellent. Such warm, supportive care! If you need anything related to pelvic health, pregnancy or postpartum I canβt recommend Rosie enough!β
βI had three months of physiotherapy with Dave Mercy starting in June 2025 to help rehabilitate my right foot following a medically necessary operation to break and re-position my heel bone following a diagnosis tibialis posterior tendinopathy with a split tear. The physiotherapy started approx three months after surgery. Dave helped me to progress from being in an air-cast boot on my first visit and unable to put my weight through my foot, onto massages to reduce and eventually eradicate the post surgical swelling in my foot, onto a range of exercises in the gym to exercise, stretch and strengthen my foot and allow me to complete everyday activities that I can now once again enjoy. The support that Dave provided was comforting in the early days and then as the gym exercises progressed, Dave was encouraging and challenged me to develop my foot strength, flexibility, and gave me the confidence to put my full weight through my foot and complete a wide range of exercises that I didnβt think would be possible. I am walking well and whilst the finer aspects of my foot recovery will take longer to achieve, for now I can walk without the pain I previously had, which is a massive achievement. Thanks Dave, you had a hugely positive impact on my level of recovery!β
βCame here with a group of friends for a birthday and we had the best night in a long time! Such a cool concept, really loved the decor and the ability to play a variety of games was a really fun addition. Amazing cocktails too!β
βStill as nurturing and wonderful as ever, dedicated and enthusiastic staff and coaches and lovely atmosphere. Busy during peak after school sessions but never horribly so.β
βGood service, tasty drinks, and super clean placeβ
βGreat size room for events, visited recently for work on the boxing show... Reasonably priced bar and owner Jason is very helpful.β
βIt has a very well looked after poolβ
βOur 8 Year old had their birthday party here and it was great. All the kids had a great time and left feeling well fed and well exercised. The staff were really friendly and helpful and checked in during the party to make sure things were going smoothly. And then everyone left with a decent party bag provided by Goals which saved us having to raid the Range/ B&M for goodie bags. As a parent it was easy to book and then we just had to turn up and join in with some football games. Would higly recommend as a party venue for any kids parties.β
βI love our David Lloyd membership. It is more than a gym membership. Itβs a place to meet friends socialise whilst also keeping fit. As a family we are far more active since joining and we are enjoying it in ways I didnβt think we would. I love the fitness classes but also have loved exploring racquets in a fun coaching environment. With a lovely blend of wellbeing sessions to balance it all out. Highly recommend.β
βThe employees of this gym are very nice, friendly, professional, very attentive to the needs of those around them, the gym is clean, orderly all the time, the machines and weights work, you can find everything you need inside the gym, jacuzzi, sauna, swimming pool, massage salon, cafe, beauty salon and many others. Instead, a large part of all this can be included in a monthly subscription at a price that anyone can afford.β
βA very friendly and welcoming club! Suitable for all abilities. The coaches are supportive and offer a variety of activities so members can integrate and progress easily. The bar is great too!β
βGreat centre, clean, professional, great availability of equipment. A little on a pricy side with memberships starting from about Β£70 a month but it looks like a price worth paying for a clean and professional environment.β
βGreat social club, excellent for functions. Friendly locals.β
βFriendly staff & reasonably priced drinks & snooker, well worth the yearly membership fee!β
βTook my grandson for his first flying lesson. He loved it. The staff were amazing. So helpful. We ate there and the food was great. Best chips we'd had in a long time. Thank you to everyone who made this a wonderful experience.β
βCoach Katie carried out a fantastic session at our pre-school. The children enjoyed a range of activities which included dancing, running, jumping and throwing, they even had a chance for egg and spoon and three-legged races. Perfectly pitched for the age group and Katie was very friendly. Highly recommend.β
βNice little club run by good people brilliantβ
βGreat little club very much under used, also has very good snooker rooms, 3 tablesβ
βAttended a child's party with my 5 year old. The facilities are good, a large multipurpose hall and good changing facilities and small gym.β
βThis club is great - everyone is so friendly and welcoming. This isn't my home club but I pop in here relatively often when I'm in the area. Facilities are great and would be very happy if this was local, home club. I've recently started doing a lot more yoga classes and am loving Ann-See Yeoh's classes. Gym is well equipped. Outdoor and indoor pools are great. Always lovely and warm and clean. Wide variety of good food and drink. Highly recommend.β
βI have just read a previous review and felt the need to leave a review of my experience. I find it amazing that i can exercise in the morning then work in the business hub for a couple of hours and then go and have a swim. I think this is brilliant that DV clubs can accommodate that and help people work and keep fit at the same time. This is not the gyms fault that someone doesnβt feel comfortable seeing people combining work & fitness. It looks like some comments and 1 star reviews have nothing to do with the club and its a shame that people feel the need to validate themselves by leaving a bad review on Google. I am so so happy my husband and i have joined the club, my only regret is that we havenβt done that sooner! PS My only comment would be - adding more sugar-free & healthy options to snacks and drinks like lemonade and ice coffee with sugar free syrup etc to the menu.β
βAmazing experience Moses cared for our every need what a boy, got locked in toilet but saved by the man Moses himself karaoke was also goodβ
βOne of the best Sunday roasts I've ever had in Chepstow, highly highly recommended to anyone looking for fantastic food and great atmosphere, it's the place to be.β
βBar lady great just a big peed off we have to queue outside for bingo on Sunday otherwise you don't get a seat whereas is we could go straight in we could have a couple more pointsβ
βGreat, casual kids party space. Plenty of space for a bouncy castle and tables for a buffet. Kept clean and tidy. Plenty of parking nearby. Very convenient!β
βSaw Gary Owers, Geoff Twentyman, Brian Tinnion and City Legend Scotty Murray on 30th November. First time at the club and it was amazing. Atmosphere was great. Owner should be proud of himself. Please can you get Gary and Geoff to come back?β
βVery good family atmosphere. Everyone is very friendly. They had a free barbecue on with all kinds of food free for the customer's. And dome a fum raffle for halftime on the football. It's very welcoming, I have to say.β
