“Omg I’ve just had the most fantastic experience here, looked after by Tracy and Kathy. I needed to be seen by a dentist prior to open heart surgery later this week. I am a 68 male who is petrified of dentists. I need a tooth out and you can imagine my anxiety levels were through the roof, the experience took two hours that’s how gentle they were, we go on about the NHS but I can tell you, it’s not the front line staff it’s the organisation that is broken. Tracy and Kathy you are a credit to your profession, ps I’m the guy going to Portugal I wish you both could come with me. Chris.”
“Unlike the other pharmacies in the area, Clifton are reliable, friendly, and always helpful, and seem to be able to source the full quantity of meds that I need for my repeats (Roathwell Surgery gave them out in dribs & drabs, ‘we’re waiting for a delivery’, &c). One of my health issues is mental, and knowing that I can rely on my meds being available in the full quantities when I need them is very reassuring!”
“I recently visited St Joseph’s for a private consultation with Mr Rogers for the excision of a ganglion cyst in my hand, followed a few weeks later by day surgery for the procedure itself. The whole process has been smooth and stress free, all the staff I have encountered were helpful and friendly, particularly nurse Chloe on the day surgery ward. The hospital itself is clean, spacious and calm. Thank you to everyone involved in my care.”
“I have had numerous experiences of standards of practice under the Welsh NHS and the dermatology team at St Woolos were quite exceptional in undertaking a delicate and critical surgical procedure. A young professional team that ensure the future of the Welsh NHS will be rosey for the community they protect.”
“Stayed over 1 night as visiting Cwmbran. Lovely double bedroom Coffee/hot chocolate and tea available. Bathroom to a standard. If you add breakfast, dining area is very good. Only let down was that you had to have waitress service for hot drinks and cups were very small. Maybe provide a larger cup !!! Self service on break buffet. Cold drinks , juices, fruit, toast and jam available. It is best to ask for veggie sausages if you are veggie before breakfast starts, as not cooked in buffet selection.”
“Have had two sessions and can now use my left arm again Thank you Mark for the magic you have performed on me. This has got to be the best physio place to visit. Thank you Mark see you next week.”

“I would like too thank MIND for their help over the past few weeks. I have had regular calls with workbooks and weekly check. I can do much more than I could a few months ago. Thank you”
“I honestly love this place so much, even if it's just a hospital. Me, being the clumsy person I am, has been here many times, from broken arms to surgeries, physical therapy, etc. Every time, I've enjoyed the experience because of how respectfully I've been treated when I come here. I was terrified and crying the first time I told I had to have surgery, but the staff was so kind with me and reassured me that I would be okay. Many times I have been here, I haven't wanted to leave, and I will always remember the ward they always put me in: D7 West. Thank you, Royal Gwent Hospital, for keeping me safe.”
“This is a shout out to the staff working the canteen. I adore you all. The service is second to none, the food is wonderful and incredibly filling. I go out of my way to eat here and love sitting outside in the garden area when the weather is warmer. Thank you all for your hard work, effort and service with a beaming smile.”
“I had a GP appointment today. I saw Dr Ali who really listened to me and was very good. I had to make an appointment at reception to have a surgical suture removed that had been in for 4 weeks. The receptionist said there were no upcoming appointments and all the nurses were fully booked today. She really tried her best and emailed all the nurses and asked me to wait in the waiting room. I was called in almost immediately to see a nurse called Charlene. She removed the suture and then said she would take bloods at the same time, instead of me having to come back in 3 weeks. She was so nice and helpful. I am very happy with the service I received from everyone at Malpas brook today.”
