Tried Rachel’s for the first time and not disappointed. She is great with dogs and you can tell she is a dog lover. Even the bits she sells are thoughtful. Shout out to Jodi who gave me fab advice about pet nutrition and helped my dog with flea repellent. £4 a month to treat your pet and you never have to worry about fleas again!”

“Teddy is an 8 month old cavapoo and had his puppy groom and now has had two big boy grooms. He literally runs through the store to get to the Groom Room, and is even more excited when he sees Beth. She has looked after him from the start and she has always does an absolutely amazing job. He looks a million dollars. She treats him with such care and understanding. “The Arcadia Coffee House is one of a kind. They serve hot buttered crumpets, which not many cafes serve. The decor is fab and original and there is a great vibe. I love their lattes, which are served with lots of whipped cream and marshmallows. Their lemon cake is to die for! Tangy, moist and delicious. Need I say more? The Arcadia is situated at the forefront of Newport Arcade, and once you have have finished your latte, there are a myriad of little shops for you to visit there - each with their their own quirky style. You are bound to find something you like. Visit The Arcadia Coffee House and the Arcade itself and you will not be disappointed.”

“Stayed over 1 night as visiting Cwmbran. Lovely double bedroom Coffee/hot chocolate and tea available. Bathroom to a standard. If you add breakfast, dining area is very good. Only let down was that you had to have waitress service for hot drinks and cups were very small. Maybe provide a larger cup !!! Self service on break buffet. Cold drinks , juices, fruit, toast and jam available. It is best to ask for veggie sausages if you are veggie before breakfast starts, as not cooked in buffet selection.”
