“I’ve used this practice before for emergency out of hours treatment and they have always been wonderful. Two years ago they saved my cats life and I’m forever grateful to them. Two days ago I had to rush my boy back in at night there and sadly he didn’t make it. My partner and I were deeply traumatised but the staff were all brilliant, kind, compassionate and caring. I couldn’t have asked for better people around me during this very difficult time. From the receptionist to the assistant vet nurses and special mention to head vet Jon, thank you sincerely for making one of life’s difficult moments easier to bear because of your care and thoughtfulness. “I brought my dog to Vets4Pets Newport Road after a rough experience at another vet in Cardiff. There are a few things I appreciate about this hospital: - The vets are skilled with good bedside manner, and I was impressed that they offer sonography, radiology, and orthopaedics. They also take the time to talk through your pets care with you and make sure that you understand everything. - They offer emergency services. Although my dog's case was pushed back a day, they helped another pup with an urgent surgery. I am from the States, and these cases nearly always get bumped to emergency clinics and speciality hospitals. - They respect my knowledge as a licensed vet nurse in the States. Other vets dismissed any concerns or knowledge I had of vet med. I've been in the field for 16 years, and I am a skilled nurse, so I appreciate that being recognized. - Their prices are reasonable. - Most of the staff handled it well when I was upset when my old dog's case was deferred to the following week (there may be some lingering irritation with me from some staff, but that is okay). The only issue I had was with an estimate being a little off, but that happens in vet med. They were able to fix some things to honor the price they quoted me.”

“I’m a new pet owner with my very first kitten. We’ve been to Vets4Pets a few times these past few months and have only had good experiences. All vets or nurses I’ve seen have always been very patient, caring and always willing to answer any questions. They always take good care of my kitten, offering him treats and being patient with him as he’s quite timid. The treatment he receives has meant vet trips are not a big ordeal or major stress for him. As an anxious owner I truly can’t thank the practice enough for making every visit as calm and stress free as possible”

“A professional and reliable service: Becky was recommended to us by Wilson’s Mum (see Becky’s Facebook posts about her work with that adorable hound). Our Labrador, Millie, and our special needs Greyhound, Flynn, had the pleasure of her company at lunchtime whilst we were away on holiday. I understand that Millie power walked Becky on the first occasion, but Becky soon turned that around! Perhaps dog and owner training would be the natural next step for Becky, as we can’t get Millie to walk like a lady no matter how hard we try! We look forward to working with Becky Happy Tails again. I’d wag my tail, if I had one!”
