“Two happy young men... highly excited to see the new Superman film, so they decided to go for the imax experience. Hot day and train from Bristol, but they thought it was well worth it. Popcorn holders and cups were a great hit with them. Hottest day of the year, so air conditioning welcomed nice staff and a good experience for them. Thank you Forgot to say staff in superman capes was a nice touch.”

“Came here to get my dancing heels fixed and was met with incredible service from the staff. I was explained the process and what would be fixed, as well as the cost, which was a lot cheaper than I expected. Got to pick up my shoes a few days later and they looked as good as new! I am so incredibly happy and relieved to not have to buy a new pair of shoes. Thank you so so much!”

“Lovely old theatre, centrally located, seats quite comfortably with leg room so your knees are not rammed up against the seat in front. We saw Thank ABBA for the music. They are a fantastic group, the best abba tribute band around, the stage, lighting and even base sound was spot on. The staff were friendly and efficient, a credit to Blackwood. The theatre brings people into Blackwood town for pre theatre drinks and meals, which helps local businesses. Let’s hope Caerphilly county council realise this and don’t close the place. Thank you for a wonderful evening.”

“Recently taken over by a new owner and there’s a clear improvement. Service is quicker, food is decent, and prices are reasonable compared to similar cafés in the area. Portions are good and everything came out hot and well cooked. Worth trying again if you haven’t visited for a while.”

“We had our daughters 3rd birthday here this morning. Everything was perfect! The children’s areas were spotless and everything was organised when we arrived. The table and decorations ( I chose unicorn ) was already laid out beautifully. We couldn’t have asked for more, I felt that all the staff were totally dedicated to ensuring my daughter , her friends and family were totally catered for and that this was her special day. Good food options , cooked fresh and served on a lovely party table. Staff were extremely attentive and continually supported and helped me throughout the party. Staff were relaxed and friendly but also completely professional and everything ran like clockwork. I would recommend to anyone , especially for six and under who want a party where the children can play but mums and dads can still relax with a coffee knowing the little ones are close and safe. Fantastic party ! Thank you to everyone today who made our daughter’s birthday so special.”

“What a wonderful gem this cafe is. Always full of fresh, high quality produce! The prices are very reasonable too. The staff are always friendly, sure it can get a little busy, but that’s because it’s such a good place to grab lunch, coffee and even breakfast on the go! Highly recommend!!”

“Great little soft play, ideal for children around the age of 3. Food and drinks were good and we even got to meet a Peppa Pig mascot included in the entry price (check their social media for mascot appearances and other special offers). It's a small play centre but that can be a good thing as it's easier to keep your eye on your child! They were very responsive when I messaged them on social media.”

“Gorgeous place, gorgeous interior, delicious food. I had a White Bueno Milkshake, & it was genuinely the best milkshake I've ever had. I don't know how this place doesn't have more customers. The cupcakes looked gorgeous, tasted great too! The piping in particular caught my eye; it looked so perfect. You HAVE to come here.”

“My daughter had her 5th birthday party at Jump n Jackz. The staff have always been very helpful and quick to respond to my messages. I had to rearrange the party as my daughter was poorly and they were able to offer a new date at no extra charge. The party itself was well organised, all I had to do was bring a cake! Brooke was very attentive and great with the kids. The play equipment was very clean, so much so they flew down the slides! Thanks for a lovely morning!”

“Cosy store in cosy location. Feels very friendly. However, it seems there's a slight problem with management. I picked up a tub of yoghurt and it spilled all over me.. it was open!! Also, in the big water section, there were no multi pack of normal water, only individual bottles.”

“I went to the pill store yesterday, go through the till I want to use my reward points wasn’t sure how to use them so the lady on the till called some young girl over. She was very rude and didn’t have a clue. I just walked away and left me stood there so they called a lady call Janet. I can’t believe how helpful she was a polite, amazing lady I told a young girl she needs to take a leaf out of this ladies book you You might learn something thank you Janet again for being so helpful”
