“I've seen Cath for approx 2 years and I cannot thank Cath enough for helping me get through so many dark times and issues! I was one of those people that thought seeing a counsellor wouldn't help or it was only for "unstable" people. But I have been proven wrong! It is does work, if you are committed and I am so proud that I didn't go down the "tablets/pills" route. Cath has helped me realise my self-worth and understand my feelings. And just overall given me the "permission" I needed to put my needs first and to look after myself. I am so thankful for Cath's help because I am in a very good place now and feel like I can take on the world! She's helped me see things from a positive and healthy perspective and taught me how to deal with the negative and to also forgive myself and let go of past mistakes. The journey isn't over, nor is it easy but that's life and I'm ok with that now. I highly recommend seeking help via counselling, but more so to reach out to Cath! =] . She is so kind, welcoming, understanding and open-minded. She never made me feel like I was being judged and the sessions are informal and comfortable. My mum uses a wheelchair and normally booking a taxi can feel like a nerve-wracking experience, never knowing if it will actually be suitable or if we’ll be left struggling. But Garth was fantastic from the moment he arrived. He didn’t just wait in the car; he came straight to the door, helped us get the wheelchair out, and made sure my mum was comfortable and safe. On the journey, he was so kind and friendly, and we had a lovely chat that really put the world to rights. It made what could have been a stressful hospital trip so much easier.
