βOne of the most nurturing schools I have ever had the pleasure to come across. My daughter went from being unable to go into a classroom to getting into top sets in high school with an amazing bunch of friends. βWe took our daughter to this Young Driver Experience a few days ago just to experience what it would be like for her to drive a car as she may take proper driving lessons...one day when she's old enough. She was very nervous to begin with (naturally) but after she finished her one hour lesson, she was beaming with smiles which indicated to us that she enjoyed the experience. (Thank God as it wasn't cheap!). For a one hour lesson, the driving instructor covered a lot of activities from introducing the pedal functions, parallel parking, slaloms, turning to runabouts, junctions etc. She was given a Personal Drive Diary booklet where the instructor recorded the activities they've completed. This Diary is to keep so that when she goes to another lesson, the next activities can be recorded here again. At the registration point, we were also given an option if we wanted a recording of her driving from the inside of the car, the price is Β£12.99 (if I remembered correctly) and they will provide you with an SD card to then give to the instructor at the beginning of the lesson. However, we decided not to purchase this. The car that she drove was a Vauxhall Corsa (manual). The instructor allocated to her was nice and friendly. He gave her a positive feedback at the end of the lesson and recommended nicer venues for taking lessons next time. Unfortunately, the Brent Cross site will no longer be available until the foreseeable future (not sure why) but they advised that the nearest site would be in Uxbridge. We would definitely continue with her driving experience (but perhaps, annually) because we think it would benefit her in the long run. Though it wasn't cheap, we think it would be a good investment.β
βThis is a great school, If you are looking at going into any type of engineering you should go here, mechanical, design, computers, electrical you name it and you can do it here. you go on lots of trips and there's even a greenpower team. it makes it even better that they are partners with JLR(jaguar landrover), the national grid and more. I recommend this place for anyoneβ
βwish i was a full time student, going to college increases my confidence and self esteem, procrastination is a hard think to get out ofβ
βThe school have been absolutely amazing with both of my children. They have been comforting, nurturing and academically supportive. My kids have both come out confident and excited to begin their primary school journeys. The staff have always responded well to any concerns, have kept me updated with any issues and have taken the time out to comfort the kids when needed. My kids come home content and I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you to the staff at DL! :)β
