“This park combines modern style and wild nature. It is very well maintained. The morning and evening singing of birds is fascinating. Migratory birds find rest here. I recommend visiting this park and enjoying the rest in nature.”

“Amazing service From the very first contact by email, both Julie and Lucy were super helpful and professional. Not only did they recommend a few companies to fit the fence, they have also replied to all the emails very swiftly throughout the whole process and offered competitive prices. We also had to amend our order after the first delivery and whilst I was expecting to incur additional cost, Lucy not only arranged a speedy replacement at no extra delivery cost but also processed a refund for the price difference. As for the fence panels, gravel boards and concrete posts, only time will tell but they look sturdy and of good quality. I could not recommend J Hubbard & Son enough. Thank you.”

“It is like stepping back in time, where you hand Mr Bhogal your list that you need and he finds it for you, and the tele that’s still on the wall from the 70s, but I’ve never been disappointed. Mr Bhogal always has what I need even when the big franchises don’t! Extremely competitive prices, personal service. Hope it’s here for another 50 years!”

“Brilliant village park teeming with life. Happy kids playing in the playground and on the grass; dog-walkers exercising their hounds and chatting; plenty of clean benches to sit on. A proper town park well used.”

“Brilliant local park and firm favourite of mine and my dog. Lots of work has been taking place on the park over last year or so. I Paticularly like the new young trees that have been planted.Will look stunning when fully grown.”

“Booked a table for Sunday lunch. Service was outstanding, we were served promptly and had frequent check backs. Food and drinks were delivered to our table quickly! Fastest service I've ever seen! I had roast pork with the cheesy cauliflower and it was amazing! Full of flavour and big portions. Cheesy cauliflower was out of this world!!! I had dessert too (chocolate brownie).. amazing too! Overall I had an amazing meal here and will definitely return! All staff were very friendly, nice and attentive. Thank you!”

“I really like Wyken Slough, any day of the year there are birds to be fed. I often see rare birds perched on logs protruding from the large pond. There are benches all a long the circumference of the pond, which allows for pit stops if needs be. The best part about this place, is the forraging. There is plenty to forrage, in the winter I was able to make jam from fresh damsons, bullace, rosehips, sloes and apples. If you venture into the overgrown trails beyond the pond, there is plenty to forrage and explore. I often see the odd burnt out abandoned motorcycle or trolley in bushes lol. Another good thing. is there are Horses to look at, you aren't allowed to feed them but if you go to the fence they will come and say hello. There are two distinct downsides to Wyken Slough, One: If you make the mistake of going during school pickup hours, the car park is absolutely packed and it's hard to get in or out, also people are all irritable. The only other issue, is youths on motorbikes and quad bikes like to use the field behind the pond as their track, when it rains you can see oil come up from the ground, in all the puddles. Not to mention the risk of anti-social behavior, although any sign of the police seems to make them leave. 4/5 :)”

“This is a beautiful small park with a charming lake in the middle that is home to a swan and her baby chicks and other species of ducks and geese.”

“A good store with lots of things as inspiration. Reasonable prices, and right in the centre of Rugby so easily accessible. I do wonder if they are doing the special Christmas treats for cats again this year. Mine loved the one in the jar!!”

“Lovely walk today in the snow, even more beautiful when the sun broke through. I did not make the snowman so cannot take credit for it but many thanks to the young family we saw building it. It made us smile!”

“I came in today for a casual Christmas Day drink, and after seeing these reviews I have to write something. The customers were appalling, spitting on staffs faces about how their meals hadn’t arrived. I get I didn’t have a meal however, the staff had given up their Christmas Day to cater for your Christmas Day, they are the most lovely staff I’ve never had a bad experience in The White Horse. I think people need to realise they are eating in a pub, you are not going to get 5 star experience. Even though it is just a local pub The White Horse go above and beyond for their customers and unfortunately the day things went wrong, that couldn’t be controlled, was Christmas Day. Things happen, isn’t the end of the world think before your speak to people badly when they have given up their special day to cater for your special day.”

“Great few hours out for the price , take a picnic blanket and food. The 4 maze's are great fun. Just make sure the weather is good.”

“Amazing nursery, both of my children attend and they both love it here. Nature trails really does go above and beyond and the staff and care they provide for the children is faultless. It really is like a home from home for my little ones.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the excellent education our daughter is receiving at the nursery. Having never attended nursery before, we were unsure how she would find her first morning. When we went to pick her up, she didn’t want to leave. The nursery with its (genuine!) Montessori education recognises the huge potential in young children. Our daughter has made great progress in her ability to concentrate, her natural curiosity, her social interactions and her knowledge of the world around her. The emphasis on practical life skills has encouraged her to cook and clean at home and she is regularly teaching us things she has learned about the natural world. Her teachers are fabulous and know her incredibly well. She will start Reception is September. We have no doubt that as a result of her nursery experience and education, she will adapt quickly and thrive academically. Huge thanks to Marina and the team. We look forward to sending our next child to you soon! We can’t recommend Leamington Montessori enough.”
