“Was there on Father’s Day and what a breakfast treat we had! The traditional breakfast is absolutely must have and full on value for money! The food is so well presented that these guys are artists! We enjoyed our time here and special shout to Sharon who was very Kind, polite and proactive, even the other staff in general, one of the best customer services I’ve seen in a while! If you are visiting Coventry, put this place on your places to visit!”

“Very nice and lovely place where you can get the BEST COFFEE AND ENGLISH BREAKFAST. The omelettes and croque madame are a must try, very delicious. I have also tried their spaghetti and cheesy meatballs which were very tasty. The staff is always so polite and welcoming. Very nice ambience and excellent customer service.”

A kindly and knowledgeable young lady took us through the various types, styles, designs, sizes and cloth weaves for riser chairs available. We could spend as long as we liked trying the comfortable seating in order to choose the one that we liked the best. Also, care was taken to ensure the proper measurements and appropriate fit was chosen for the person for whom it was to be bought. A costly choice by any measure, but hopefully rewarding with comfort into old age.”

“Came here on a lunch break Tried the burgers before in Leicester and they were ok. Standard burger really but wanted to try the loaded fries. Had the bad boy hot mess !!! Wow best loaded fries i have ever had !! So full of flavour. Could eat these all day Keep up the great work guys”

I marked down 1 star with food because they forgot to put my big garlic sauce in with order and I paid £2.50 for it. Can’t complain about anything else though. Very nice food, thanks!”

The staff were friendly and helpful the place was clean and spotless and the food was fresh and tasty and great value for money. “Stayed here in November. What an amazing find - better than any hotel chain. Great location in Balsall Common - right next to the train station only a 6 min train ride to the NEC (if you're on business there). Its a small, family run business with 3 double rooms (1 more being added soon). The owner Andy was lovely & most helpful. It's modern and gorgeous, lovely rooms and a breakfast room and reading room for guests to use. There is a range of wine, beers, drinks and snacks available (just pay using the honesty box) and your breakfast will be cooked for you to order. Highly recommend this place & will no doubt return!”

“We’d been recommended Jack’s Shack by so many people and it definitely lived up to the hype. We popped in for lunch and ended up staying for a few hours with our laptops – a great spot to work from on a sunny day as the light came flooding in from the big windows. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere, delicious food that arrived really quickly, and the iced coffee was especially good. One of us was gluten free and the other a fussy eater but we both had no problem finding something suitable on the menu...Eggs & avo on sourdough toast, a gluten-free ham & cheese toastie. We’ll definitely be back to see the friendly team, next time to try the French toast which smelt amazing!”
