“Very nice fast food. Staff is friendly and the shop is one of the cleanest i saw. When visiting the Kenilworth Castle we had a few choices around but decided on Friends because of the food and prices... the fish was one and a half foot long... Chips are crispy and portions are huge. Would definitely eat there again.”

“What a fantastic place. I had an incredible experience at Tambayan in Kenilworth. The food was absolutely amazing – full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. “I had a really, really nice meal here. The atmosphere was really nice with pleasant music and a nice number of other groups eating. The service was impeccable and they dealt with my allergies excellently. The waiter we spoke to knew exactly what would and wouldn't be an issue which was really nice, particularly as my allergies are less common. The food itself was lovely and priced very well (especially the kids' portions). I can't really recommend this restaurant highly enough!”

“First time visiting tamarind after seeing a review in the paper about the restaurant winning an award. Took the missus last night and both of us agreed that this was the best lamb bhuna we've ever had. Food was amazing. Staff were amazing and the place was buzzing with a great atmosphere. It was well worth the 20 min drive from coventry. Tamarind will 100% be our go to from now on.”

“Jimmy’s is a very short walk away from the house for us, so it’s a welcome treat for lunch. Decent selection of sandwiches/burgers and includes specials. Recommend the Yorkshire pudding wrap, it’s messy to eat but super tasty!”

“Went here yesterday 18th dec for some hot drinks before panto at the priory theatre. 5 adults 2 teens and a 6 year old. The man serving us (didn’t catch his name) couldn’t be more accommodating, very friendly and helpful and enthusiastic he took our order, made suggestions on drinks including which size would be best for the little one and then found us a lovely table, the waitress (also didn’t catch her name) young girl was lovely, the vibe felt very welcoming and the hot drinks were really cheap and the hot chocolates had cream and marshmallows which were offered I didn’t have to ask like in most places. Will deffo be back hopefully for food next time”

“Was absolutely fantastic, ordered it on a Friday at 5pm for it to arrive after 20 minutes! And we were the village over! The delivery driver was incredibly sweet also. The food was piping hot, which is always appreciated, and the food was well seasoned, even down to the pork rice. If you want a Chinese takeaway in the area surrounding Kenilworth or in Kenilworth, go with Tai Pan!”

“This was our first meal here, and we loved it. A hidden gem that's well worth trying out. Don't let the frontage put you off as once you go around the back, you'll see they have a lovely outdoor space with plenty of seating. It will be gorgeous in the summer. Lovely friendly welcome, attentive staff, and timely food, which was delicious!”

Last weekend I was greeted by name on arrival and Mia had allocated us our favourite room even though I'd forgotten to request it. Rooms are clean & comfortable and have what you need for an overnight stay.”
