The staff were friendly and helpful the place was clean and spotless and the food was fresh and tasty and great value for money. The sharwarmas are so filling and the whole family thought it was a refreshing change to the usual takeaways. I wish this business and it's friendly staff good luck and success. So locals just pop in and give it a try and hopefully you love it as much as we did.”

“We can't believe this place exists! It is hidden from the road, lovely, lovely refurb! The 3 lads who work in there are lovely, very polite and attentive Food was really nice, good vibe! Lovely garden area to sit in the sun Good parking, no road noise from Fosse which was good and the toilets are nice I particularly enjoyed my starter it was delicious Bill was £146 for 4 adults and a child with starters, mains and drinks Definitely check it out it's really very good”

“The best food I ever had, I came to visit The Wave and I was a bit hungry, I tried the chicken smashed burger and the grilled chicken and daughter had the chicken wrap and everything was fresh and amazing. Price was good and after we came out of The Wave we went for round 2. Best quality food !!”

Once I sat down, a delicious Turkish bread, two types of sauces and olives immediately served for free. Then I tried one of the most famous Turkish dishes which is the mixed grills that came with three skewers as shown in the photos. In general, I highly recommend this restaurant if we are looking for a good value for money and delicious food.”

“I visited The Hungry Elephant this evening and had a fantastic experience. The food was bursting with authentic Indian flavours, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The naan bread, in particular, was cooked to perfection – soft, warm, and perfectly crisp on the edges. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble – they went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. After following the signs I found it Guys working there are super friendly and chatty I had a chicken tikka wrap Wow Really fresh and well cooked chicken Salad was fresh too Great flavour and was all super fresh. “Amazing fish and chips and one of the best battered sausages I’ve ever had. Start off with the fish, fresh Grimsby fish so soft and tender melts in your mouth with a light thin crispy batter which doesn’t stick to the paper either! Next the chips are probably the best chippy chips I’ve had on a consistent level, they burn my fingers upon first touch and the steam that’s built up inside just makes the chips almost break into mash, lovely and soft every single time! Now the battered sausages, 90% of the time have been wonderfully crisp on the outside and steaming hot on inside, very good quality proper pork chippy sausage. Lastly forgot to mention it’s probably around 20% cheaper then most high street chippies, £2 battered sausages, £5 massive huge enough to feed 7 easy large chips(around 8 scoops) and £7 for the extra large haddock or cod. Forgot to mention the very authentic chippy curry sauce made to absolute perfection 100% of the time!£1.40 for a large! This place is a little gem I’d travel 20+ miles for this everytime it’s bang on! Thanks guys - Nick”

“Food quality has deteriorated significantly since our last visit. Head waiter was unprofessional shouting at our waitress in front of guests. I know it's only Marco Pierre White's name over the door because if he was there the Head Waiter would either lose his job or get a very public drubbing. Scotch Egg is still worthwhile but everything else has taken a turn for the worse. Dauphinoise potatoes are very good though even if smothered too much in cheese”
