31 Little Lane Play Village
βVisited today, and really positive about this little gem! The name says it all. Absolutely cute! Very clean and well run, staff are an absolute pleasure. A variety of snacks, food and drinks for sale. Not small enough for kids to get bored but also not big and overbearing, as some play areas may feel. I really did get a personal and intimate play time feeling, with this place. Owners clearly aren't greedy, as there was enough people in to make some friends but not too much to feel crowded. My son has said this is his favourite place and after showing it to grandma and grandad they said they can't wait to take him there. Every kids dream! Loads of dressing up, loads of props, allowing the little ones to literally role play who ever they want to be. My son made me a lovely cake in the bakery, but then put me in jail as apparently I had eaten too much of it. Haha it was lovely. My 8month old daughter also enjoyed being able to touch things and get on the farm animals. I would say age wise it's probably more for 1-8 years olds, but that's just personal opinion. My only negative would be, not pushchair accessible. Pushchairs are expected to be left on ground floor, followed by stairs to the 1st floor to the play area. That's my only negative. But that's only a small negative that really isn't that bad. Love the 1h30 slot as its not too long but it's enough time for kids to play and have some fun. Can not wait to come back again. βGreat place to swim or workout in the gym. Staff are very friendly, and facilities are clean, well maintained and well equipped. The gym has a variety of different equipment, from Cardio to resistance. Membership is very reasonable, and the long opening hours means it's great for an early morning or late night workout. Swimming lessons are available here.β

βOur daughter absolutely LOVES coming here, she's always happy going and sad to leave! The staff our lovely, Louise the manager is brilliant with the kids and the parents!! We have had a really tough time personally and haven't been the easiest family to accommodate and Louise has been very understanding and supportive. The preschool is set at the back of the Sowe Valley primary school which looks like a lovely school so the kids could transition to that setting easily having already attended the same site. Despite what the official websites say, previously only mornings were being offered, but now the 30 hours are so mornings and afternoons. The children have to take lunch as there's no facility for meals (they get given snacks and drinks) and there's no wrap around hours at this stage. Ideal for us though as we work from home. All in all, in terms off what's really important, ie the staff, the education and LO happiness it's the best preschool we've ever encountered - can't recommend enough A************β
