I needed two separate operations due to hip dysplasia and needed to stay in hospital for two nights following both surgeries. From the first consultation with Mr Stephen to recovering post op on the ward, I was treated with kindness and compassion by an incredibly professional, knowledgeable and caring team. The wonderful nursing and health care staff work extremely hard and they ensured I was as comfortable and pain free as possible, which meant I was soon having physio with the brilliant physiotherapists. The room I stayed in was pristine thanks to hard working staff. The catering team were always friendly and helpful. I would like to say a huge thank you to the entire team at Nuffield Derby (my consultant, anaesthetists, nurses, health care assistants, physiotherapists and everyone who helped me to recover so quickly). I would highly recommend this hospital.”
