“I was visiting Barnes with my kids to explore the lovely Wetlands site, and my 15-year-old discovered this amazing café-bakery on Instagram, The Base, right in the heart of the village. OMG, what a find! The place is beautiful, the food absolutely delicious, and the prices are great value. I wish we had somewhere like this where I live! The friendly waiter told us that all the breads and cakes are made in-house, and even their coffee is roasted on-site. You can really taste the difference. Congratulations to everyone behind this wonderful business, it’s clear how much love and hard work has gone into creating such a special place.”

“Ceri Anne came highly recommended for Reflexology at The Treatment Room, & I would now like to do the same. It is easy to find, with a nice large car park, & the building is spacious & well laid out, with a wonderful treatment room. You are instantly put at ease with Ceri Anne, who is kind, friendly & professional , making you feel confident in the treatments she will be giving. Gentle/soothing music is played whilst you relax & enjoy an hours treatment, incorporating some meditation which makes the experience even more relaxing. I would highly recommend trying the reflexology, even if it's something you haven't tried before, as it truly helps to deal with the stresses of daily life, work etc!!”

“I received the highest standard of care from start to finish at the Nuffield Derby Hospital. I needed two separate operations due to hip dysplasia and needed to stay in hospital for two nights following both surgeries. From the first consultation with Mr Stephen to recovering post op on the ward, I was treated with kindness and compassion by an incredibly professional, knowledgeable and caring team. The wonderful nursing and health care staff work extremely hard and they ensured I was as comfortable and pain free as possible, which meant I was soon having physio with the brilliant physiotherapists. The room I stayed in was pristine thanks to hard working staff. The catering team were always friendly and helpful. I would like to say a huge thank you to the entire team at Nuffield Derby (my consultant, anaesthetists, nurses, health care assistants, physiotherapists and everyone who helped me to recover so quickly). I would highly recommend this hospital.”
