“Food was very nice and good quality great selection lots to choose from will definitely visit again. Really enjoyed the dumplings and the chicken curry good flavour the Thai green curry had just the right amount of spice.”

“Wow! Caught a last minute booking for the ten course - yes TEN - tasting menu. Fab-u-lous! Something so wrong yet right about starting with the unmistakable taste of a Big Mac from the first course but we then cantered through so many creative and sumptuous dishes, each painstakingly presented and introduced by her enthusiastic and friendly team. Start with a cocktail and then enjoy taking your time with the wide choice of wines to suit all tastes (and budgets). We went with a Montrachet as it was a special occasion and the food deserved a wine to match. But please don’t make a reservation - it was hard enough to get one this time!”

“We visited today for my birthday and oh my goodness it's was brilliant. Absolutely fantastic service from a very friendly guy (didn't get his name!) from the minute we walked in. So refreshing to have a waiter who does things so well. Cocktails were lovely and well made and the birthday card was a very nice touch. We both had three courses, and finished every last bit of it all! Really delicious. My husband particularly enjoyed the Thai sweet potato soup and I absolutely loved the rump of lamb. The flavours were so fresh and delicious. Felt like a real treat to visit somewhere so lovely. Can't wait to revisit! Thank you!”

“Can’t say enough good things about this place, which is under new management. Extremely welcoming hosts, serving delicious and authentic Indian cuisine that is second to none. “A friend and I arrived without booking and the staff were very accommodating, we had to depart by 7.30, but arriving at 6.15 gave us plenty of time. I had king prawn and chorizo penne which was really good. Followed by cheese cake accompanied by a glass of fizz. Really good food and very good service.”

“My wife and I had a lovely dinner to celebrate our anniversary and The Dial made it very special. They have decorated it for Christmas so nicely and the festive music and atmosphere was great too. The food was delicious and the service equally excellent. Lots of really tasty options on the menu too to keep it a cut above the rest! We shall definitely return!”

“Had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast here for a birthday treat. I've never had a multiple course breakfasts in this sort of format, so that was interesting. The location is adorable, especially if you can get a window seat. Staff were patient and friendly. The food was amazing! Good quality ingredients, tasteful sauces. The crumpet for my eggs benedict initially looked store bought, but it had much better flavour and texture when eating. Mushrooms on toast was so savoury and creamy, but not overly saucy. The brioche used was not overly sweet, so a good balance for various plates. Would happily return, and looking forward to trying a lunch/dinner menu.”

“Very nice dinner, food and service! We thought of celebrating our anniversary and were searching for a restaurant somewhere nearby to Mickleover in Derby and find this gem of a place! Amazing place. Very good Indian good and really attentive service focused on the customers. Very economical pricing and quality is also good. Comparable to famous restaurants in Derby like Anoki etc.”

“Singh’s Punjabi Restaurant is a cosy place that perfectly catered to me and my friend’s meal. As a vegetarian, the options on the menu were extensive, which is something I rarely experience, and from what I ate, the food was delicious. I also really appreciated the vibe of the restaurant; customers knew the staff, and that resulted in a welcoming and social environment. The apple juice was also exquisite.”

“Absolutely brilliant food and service. I’ve literally ordered 3 times this week and its definitely the best around. Ordered from a lot of other places before which has never really gave me the wow factor but this place is best of the best. Black pudding is to die for, I could eat a plate full of it. The delivery drivers are extremely polite and not just the type just to dump the food on the doorstep. Not the cheapest however its all high class food. Customer for life. Gav”
