“Tyre going flat despite being topped up. Went in on a Saturday morning on the off chance of getting it fixed. I was informed that the Mots booked in for that day would make it unlikely that my tyre could be fitted in, and was asked to come back on Monday. Monday morning, tyre unresponsive to any attempts to introduce air. Fitted spare. Went in to DSC on way to work and was shown the reason for no inflation. Ask for a replacement tyre to be fitted and expected to pay the normal price for mid price example. I was called in the afternoon by Jackie to say my tyre was ready. Arrived to find my new tyre balanced etc asked for it to be fitted which was passed on to one of the guys to do. Asked the price……had to sit down for this….not even £100 ……yes, balanced , fitted and a cracker of a tyre….all for under £100. I can see why these people have 5 star reviews…. A gem of a place with excellent staff. 5 stars all round.”

There are always so many stories going around about rogue car dealers/mechanics that finding a reliable, courteous, competitively priced and local garage is a real pleasure. I have been back now 5 times over the last 4 years for MOT's on 3 different cars. The staff have always been friendly and willing to explain what needs doing. The thing that sold it for me the first time and subsequently when walking past (which i do 2 or 3 times a week) is that they are always busy. It doesn't seem to stop them being able to fit me in at my convenience, not theirs. I would definitely recommend this garage as a centrally located, convenient, independent gem!”

“The Rear bumper of my car had bad scratching and a crease in it and I thought I would probably needed to get a new bumper. My first thoughts were confirmed when I took it to one garage. I then went to ChipRite who confirmed a repair was possible. I also needed an alloy wheel repaired and a small scratch on the front bumper. I took my car in early one morning and told them there was no rush for the car. Got it back 24 hours later in tip top condition. Fantastic job, fantastic service and very good price. Highly recommended and I will definitely take my car back to ChipRite should any other misfortune arise to my car.”

I went into the store to collect my son’s bike for Christmas, only to realise I had accidentally ordered it for Saturday the 27th — after Christmas. As you can imagine, I had well and truly messed up and was firmly in the bad books with my wife. Despite this being completely my mistake, the bike team absolutely came through. They went above and beyond by sourcing the bike from another store, bringing it in, and building it the very next day. Because of their effort, my son will have his bike on Christmas morning. Outstanding customer service, genuine care, and a team that clearly takes pride in what they do. I can’t thank them enough — a real Christmas miracle.”
