β Great place to get a hair cut! Been going now a year and half. Walk ins welcomed, but wait can be a bit long sometimes. You can schedule a hair cut/beard trim using the Nearcut app. When I find a good barber, I stick with themβand these guys do a great job. The shop has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after work. You get some good conversation and, most importantly, a quality haircut and beard trim.β
βAbsolutely smooth sailing! After my previous barber moved away during the summer, I spent months finding a place with reasonable prices. There are barbers in this city costing 45 pounds for a simple haircut and head shave, even with student discounts applied. I'm grateful and thankful for this barber who did an absolutely phenomenal job. He's honest and doesn't shoot up the prices or price fix for simple services. I came in 9:25 AM this morning and found him opening his shop right before time to open came in. I asked him for a brief head shave and just like that he got it done exquisitely in under 3 minutes just the way I wanted. No complications or in-depth explanations. All for a mere 14 GBP. Definitely going to be my go-to barber shop from now on! Thank you very much Sir.β
βi really appreciate the barber he really cut same like i said to himβ
βMost of the staff are friendly. They listen to your requirements carefully. They may also suggest additional services, but it's totally up to you. The haircut, beard styling, ear wax for hair removal, eyebrow cut, and hair styling services are reasonably priced. It is not the best place to go on a busy day, as the staff tend to hurry up a lot. I would strongly recommend service of Sameer and Alan. They are skillful and polite. There is a new Indian guy (one with specs) who is terrible with service and awfully rude. Avoid him at all costs!β

βReally impressed with The Players Lounge. Booking was straightforward and easy to rearrange when I needed to. Got a warm welcome when I arrived (and a very good coffee!). I saw Ase, who was friendly, easy to chat with, and took the time to have a relaxed, unhurried discussion about what I was looking for. She asked helpful questions, offered thoughtful suggestions, and together we narrowed it down into a clear plan. The result was exactly what I was hoping for, and I left very happy with the cut. Great experience all round β Iβll definitely be back.β

βMichael gave me a fantastic curly cut. I've been going to a curly cut place in New Town for a couple of years and have never really been happy with it, but thought that must be how my hair is. Not the case....my new cut is full of layers and it now shapes/frames my face properly instead of hanging heavy. It was an enjoyable experience with all the little touches like the head massage and Michael is lovely and has a very calming demeanor, I'll definitely be back.β
βI'd recommend Ang to everyone but especially those who have autistic kids. She's fantastic. You need to be eagle eyed for appointments or walk in on Friday and Saturday. Beware Saturday is particularly busy.β

βA monthly visit to Benjaminβs has become a highlight of father-son bonding. Lovely, and hilarious, gentlemen in here. Dan gets my heid done precisely in about 15 minutes, while Matt is a diplomatic genius, running the gauntlet between nine-year-old desire for a buzzcut with motherly concern brilliantly. Go here. It is good. You will get a good haircut. The end.β
