“Always a pleasure to visit David Lloyd. The facilities are great and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. We've had a family membership for over 20 years and still really enjoy it. In my opinion, it's the best gym in the area.”
“Fantastic time away- the young people were having a wonderful time with loads of different activities not just the trampolines but airbags too, and a climbing area! A massive shout out to Christian and Steven for helping us with a wheelchair issue! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable with how to help. I highly recommend.”
“Great community centre has lots of courses to take part in”
“My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 9 months old. In this time she has flourished, her learning and capabilities have developed very well and she has grown into a confident child who loves to learn new things. Her rapport with the staff is superb, I know when we take her to nursery she will be well cared for.”
“My daughter loved it, and it's great value for money . The instructers were really good with her”
“Great venue. Love spectating Glasgow Clan Ice hockey team! Fab atmosphere, decent price on snacks and drinks. Seating a little confusing sometimes but I think that comes with getting used to the place.”
“We came across Pirate Pete at the David Lloyd on a Sunday afternoon and both my boys (who usually aren’t a fan of party entertainers) loved him! I think it was a mix of being fun but not loud and in your face. We then booked Pirate Pete for my sons 4th birthday party and it was the best decision we ever made. All the kids had a great time! Pirate Pete made such a special effort to make sure the birthday boy felt the centre of attention but still included all the children. Just as before even the kids who are very shy loved it as he gently encourages everyone to participate. Thanks so much Pirate Pete. Sorry it took so long to leave you a review! You were great and remembered so fondly by the boys!”
“Lots of screens. Several of the theaters have very comfy recliners in a more intimate "screening room" sort of setting. We were on the top floor and there was also a bar in the lobby area. Actually some stunning views from the lobby. The theater was clean. The sound was very good. The quality of the projection was solid.”
“Perfect for a family day out. Plenty of activities to choose from. Bowling, arcade, rock climbing, cinema. Has some food options as well. Plenty of free parking available”
“Always a nice time here… sweet popcorn , nice ice cream and cool cinema”
“The Tenpin venue has recently been refurbished and looks amazing! I go to play pool - the new tables are lovely, smaller American ones, no longer the lopsided ones with damaged cloth. It’s also not in a dark area of the venue, much lighter and brighter. There are now smaller metered tables you can play for £5-£7 an hour which is awesome! It’s a really massive improvement. You can order food from your table and there’s a good selection of alcohol free drinks. I had a blast and can’t wait to go again! As a haiku: Tenpin shines like new, Neon lights over pool tables Games, drinks, joy on cue.”
“Go to slimming world there, staff so nice and place is grt”
“Really fantastic nursery. My son attended here from aged 1-2 and spent time in the baby room and tweeny room. The staff were fantastic, taking a deep interest in my kids development, building a relationship with him and looking after his wellbeing in every way. Communication was fantastic both via an app and in person at the start and end of each day. Huge thanks to all involved.”
“I can not praise this nursery enough. My son has just finished up 2 years at Kirklandneuk and we are so so sad to say goodbye to the nursery. The manager Nicola who is SUCH a warm and welcoming and friendly face, calm under pressure, remembers what's going on in each childs home-life, and clearly manages her team well judging by the low staff turnover and the friendly atmosphere. Celine, my son's care worker is just such a gentle, nurturing energy, helping my son feel cared for and safe. The facilities and set up are genuinely the best in Scotland (we have used a few nurseries before Kirklandneuk). The open plan layout allows for extra eyes-on-kids, the outdoor facilities are fantastic for high energy boys, the allotment where fruit is grown is such an asset, and the quiet grass surroundings are so much better than other nurseries who's outdoor space is by a busy road with lots of car fumes. The settling in period was ALL about my son, what he needed, and progressing at his pace. I knew he was in safe hands. THANK YOU KIRKLANDNEUK for nurturing and loving my son. We will miss you all sooooo much!!!!”
“Both of my children, in P1 and P2, attend Cherrie Centre After School Care, and I couldn’t be happier with the support they receive. My son, who has autism, has previously been refused or dismissed from other after-school care settings due to his disability. However, the Cherrie Centre welcomed both of my children with genuine care and compassion. Every evening when I pick them up, they’re full of stories about their day and often don’t want to leave! The staff are incredible ,especially Chloe, and treat my son just like any other child, as it should be. I highly recommend the Cherrie Centre, particularly for parents who are struggling to find inclusive and understanding after-school care for children with ASN needs.”
“Had our wedding here and service was fantastic. Linzi in particular went above and beyond and really made it special. Callum, Chris, Emma, Mason and Sophie looked after us really well too”
