“If your looking a dog walker then I would highly recommend James. I moved to Newton farm in January and was looking for a new dog walker as my last dog walker (Tail shakers) wasn’t properly walking my dog as I own an Akita the previous dog walker (Tail shakers) had him out with chihuahuas frenchies etc with atleast 7 or 8 dogs at a time and took them to dog pens and let them run around and called this dog walking which he never had any control over the dogs at any time. James on the other hand takes no more than two dogs at a time spends the full time with them takes them big walks and my dog loves him so if your looking for a dog walker that actually cares about animals and isn’t just in it for money then James is your man! Very friendly and very reliable.”

“These kennels are under new management so gave them a go for daycare for my precious girl. The facilities are endless including a play field and an indoor play area for rainy days. The reception area is bright and welcoming and the staff immediately put my mind at rest for leaving my girl as they were very friendly and she took to them immediately. In addition they have lovely grooming facilities and clean and well maintained kennels which they were happy to show me. I will definitely be using hartfield again”

“Personally I would highly recommend Glenauld Kennels! Being the owner of a Male American Akita Kaiser who has just turned 2! (whom lets be honest, have a bad reputation ) and CAN be very unpredictable and aloof at times)....if not raised properly!!! That is!! ..... But after booking my Boy in for 5 days....... I can sincerely say that he had a great time! And clearly well cared for! ( so much so! I swear he was smiling) Haha..... he is an extremely energetic Dog with a mind of his own.!...And completely disobeys anyone ( Unless my presence is there) FACT!!....I knew that he might have been a bit of a handful ( piss taker ) for his carers, but they just took it in their stride, and seen his own amazing personality....rather than his breed.. Will not find a better Service than this ...”

“Lovely place to go for a walk. Nice car park with plenty of spaces. Good signage of the different pathways you can take including horse trail and nature trail. Has toilet facilities and a big play park for kids. There were a good few benches dotted about on the pathway I chose to venture on which was nice to sit and enjoy the flowing water beside the pathway.”

“Beautiful Southside parkland running alongside the River Cart. Woodlands and paths are clean and tidy. There is an accessible waterfall and lots of grassy areas with benches to rest. It’s peaceful, simple and relaxing. One of the largest and nicest parks in Glasgow and well worth a drive to.”
