“It's a well stocked shop with various items from household goods, clothing, opticians to car and obviously food. Personally I'd like a bigger section for garden/house plants instead of things being seasonal - these areas are not seasonal if you are an avid gardener. Staff are friendly and helpful and the place has plenty of parking for all. There is also an onsite garage (card payment - no kiosk).”

“We came for a Birthday celabration staff where so acomadating they allocated for our baby and highchair staff where smiling and interacting with the children especially Katia, and our table server Kasia arranged musical instrument and sang and offered to cut our cake for us she also took our drinks orders the cocktails where increadable and flavorsome. Brillant atmosphere where you can help your self to well presented and tasty food to accompany your meats. From salad to freash bread, meatballs and pasta it was lovley . Will definatly come back.”

They have an entire tea menu, where you can browse a selection of black, green, white and herbal teas from around the world, such as the wide varieties of Chinese teas, Indian teas such as Darjeeling and Assam tea, even African teas, such as kosabei tea from Kenya, all ethnically sourced, by the way. It has a really welcoming atmosphere, the ladies who looked after us couldn't have been nicer, the price of the pottery and all the painting supplies is very good, £2.50 for the paint and kiln, just the pottery item to add on top. It's also a lovely cafe with sofas to enjoy coffee and cake for non pottery painters. (The cakes were superb). Will definitely be back again.”

“Went for my Mother in laws birthday. Came all the way from Manchester to be with her. What a lovely place. The food was amazing. I had tomato and basil soup which is the nicest I’ve ever tasted. It came with an home made bread roll which was so soft and tasty. I had a cheese scone along with this that was also so light. The selection of cakes is amazing too, They brought cake out for Rita and sang happy birthday. Such lovely people. Would definitely recommend”

“5 stars all round for this cracking independent on Princes Avenue in Hull. We had a very tasty oat milk cappuccino and latte before our vegan Sunday lunch arrived, with an incredibly tasty pastry topped pie, mash, roast potatoes, perfectly-cooked veg and even a melt-in-the-mouth vegan yorkshire pudding. Everyone in there had booked as they're very popular and we'll be booking for an even bigger group of us next time, and maybe sample the puddings too (including a vegan sticky ginger cake). Staff were all friendly and just the right amount of attentive, even offering (rather than us having to ask) extra gravy.”

There’s so much choice and something to keep everyone entertained, I think the pricing for exclusive booking is more than reasonable and being able to take your own buffet is a nice touch. “I love this place. The atmosphere is so chilled. The staff are first class and the owner is the cheeriest chap you will come across west of the River Hull. Easy to sit and chill with a few drinks in the sun trap garden at the back but you have to try the food, that is what will make you go back.”

“The minute I walked in Moon Coffee House when it first opened a year ago, I loved the decor and the warm and inviting atmosphere. I have visited many times since - the food is amazing and beautifully presented, the staff are welcoming and friendly and the service is spot on. It's somewhere I feel very comfortable and relaxed enough to sit on my own. I regularly attend the Red Tent meditation evenings, which includes a lovingly prepared vegan meal and I have made some wonderful friends along the way. “I took my partner here for his birthday meal and we both really loved it! I'm a vegetarian and I was recommended the Salmon by our host Jordan. The salmon was absolutely delicious and a really good portion size! The other vegetarian options all looked good with a suprising amount of options which I was pleasantly surprised with. My partner is very much a meat eater (which is why I chose this restaurant for him) and he had a great time! He tried all the meats and his favourite was the garlic salt sirloin steak. He also really enjoyed the honey pork and the lamb. I'm also a big fan of salad bars and we both agreed that this was the best salad bar we've had at a restaurant! Lots of really nice fresh produce that you can tell hadn't been sat there for ages. We were served by Jordan, Ilona and Pusak, all were equally friendly and attentive. It was my partners birthday as I mentioned and they also brought out a cocktail on the house with a candle in it as a suprise which we both thought was very kind. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant. It's all you can eat which can sometimes be expensive but you 100% got your moneys worth here. We'll definitely be recommending it to others and we'll be coming back next time we're in Beverley! *we didn't take any photos because we were too busy enjoying the food!!*”
