The service was great, Hollie was our server and she was personable taking an interest in our day. We got a variety of different food, which was all delicious. “We visited Saturday night so had the 9 course taster menu. The food was simply amazing! So good waiting for each course not knowing what would be coming next. The chef recommend a wonderful white wine to accompany our meal followed by a wonderful shiraz to finish. The two waitresses who served us were very polite and informative and are an asset to this restaurant. We all had an amazing time. Will certainly be visiting again.”

“Cerutti 2 is by far my favourite place for seafood/fish in Yorkshire ( yes including Whitby and in years gone by, The Drum and Monkey in Harrogate). This family run business prides itself on the best quality, food,wine, service. When you walk through the door you can smell the aroma of great food from a proper working kitchen..no ready meals waiting for a microwave ping at this establishment. Tina, Tony, Dom and staff are excellent at making suggestions if you are struggling over the wonderful choices and 'specials board'. Nothing is too much trouble..and you are treated exactly the same, whether you're going through the full menu or having a simple dish of Fish & Chips.”

“We had this for the first time today with a delivery. The food was delivered by a very pleasant delivery driver and arrived piping hot. The portion sizes are very good. We had chicken curry, chicken passanda and lamb pathia along with onion bahjis and popadoms with pickle tray. Everything was extremely tasty and we will definitely order from here again.”

“My husband and I visited here on Sat. It's a beautiful place to unwind either for lunch or just a drink. I can't comment on the meals as we only had a coffee and a bun, which was lovely, a bit expensive but worth the ambience of the place. There are a couple of nice walks around the area also.”

“Arrived late on a Sunday afternoon looking for a cosy Sunday dinner, we were not disappointed. The fish and chips with homemade tartar sauce were delicious and the sea bass was also cooked very well and wonderfully presented The outstanding feature was the service, particularly from Jane who was warm, welcoming and very funny. “Partner had the burger and I had the lobster ravioli asked them for less chilli as the first time I had it, the chilli was overpowering the dish. They had to remake but sorted it quickly and efficiently. Cat our server was great, very attentive. Will be visiting again soon.”

“Best pizza in the area! We can tell the pizzas are made from fresh, good quality ingredients and baked beautifully in a proper stone pizza oven (the crust is on the thin side and crispy). All the different toppings we have had are beautiful, fresh and tasty. The staff are very friendly and professional. We have plenty of pizza takeaways to choose from where we live, but happily travel 20 minutes to get a GOOD pizza. (My partner reacts badly to low quality pizza dough and has NEVER had a problem here. The dough here is fresh and bakes beautifully. Our little girl with sensory issues loves the pizza from here, it's one of very few meals that she actually really loves and gets excited about.) Thanks Dolce Vita! Pls don't go anywhere!”

“Excellent concept, students learning restaurant management, service and preparing food in a real restaurant setting to paying public. Absolutely lovely meal with a licensed bar and the atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed, we felt unrushed and service was fantastic. Young students aged between around 16 - 20 managed the whole experience under supervision of a front of house college tutor who remained low key and let the students experience all aspects of a restaurant service but stepped in when needed. The menu and introduction encourages customers to treat this as a full learning experience for students and to be varied and realistic with our requests..to test their experience and knowledge. It was French night when we dined and we enjoyed every course, coffee a bottle of wine and petis fours. Absolutely full to bursting with great quality authentic French meals. We are booked in for a future Italian and Indian evening and very much looking forward to returning. A lovely evening and highly recommended”

“This is a well run pubic house with plenty of TVs to watch sport on. The staff are very friendly and the tables are always very clean. The chef needs a pat on the back as the food is always tasty and hot. A positive experience on every visit. Only thing that lets it down is the selection of draught ciders.”
