“Pizza tasted great and the twisted cheese dough balls are really good! Domino's overall is great and I've never had any issues. It looks overpriced at first but if you use the Domino's app you can get some great deals especially if you collect your food from the store. This Domino's is open till 5am which is great if your up all night and looking to order food! I definitely recommend trying the twisted cheese dough balls one of the best sides on the menu!”

“Cerutti 2 is by far my favourite place for seafood/fish in Yorkshire ( yes including Whitby and in years gone by, The Drum and Monkey in Harrogate). This family run business prides itself on the best quality, food,wine, service. When you walk through the door you can smell the aroma of great food from a proper working kitchen..no ready meals waiting for a microwave ping at this establishment. Tina, Tony, Dom and staff are excellent at making suggestions if you are struggling over the wonderful choices and 'specials board'. Nothing is too much trouble..and you are treated exactly the same, whether you're going through the full menu or having a simple dish of Fish & Chips.”

“Thai Palace left an absolutely fantastic impression on us. From the moment we stepped inside, we were warmly greeted by the attentive staff, who made us feel truly welcome. The service was exceptional—efficient, friendly, and impressively quick. We were seated and served our drinks within a minute of arriving. The set lunch menu offers incredible value, with a starter and main course priced just under £15. Our food arrived remarkably fast, served piping hot and prepared with fresh ingredients. We waited less than 10 minutes for our starter, and our main followed shortly after. The presentation was equally impressive, showcasing great attention to detail. Though we typically opt for Chinese cuisine, this experience has completely won us over. The menu is extensive, and we are already planning our next visit to explore more dishes. The restaurant itself is stunning, featuring beautiful artwork, stylish tables, and elegant panelled walls. One standout detail was the impeccable cleanliness—it's clear that the staff take great pride in maintaining the space. Without a doubt, Thai Palace has become our new favourite restaurant. “A fabulous place to go if your looking for authentic Chinese hot pot and grill. Good menu range of dishes to choose from. Far different to the usual Chinese take away menu. Really tasty food and good portion sizes. You get plenty for your money. We will definitely be returning and making this one of the top places to eat out. We went during the week so it was quiet but welcoming just the same. Maybe some low playing tranquil or asia music in the background would make the atmosphere even better if possible.”

“Ordered 2x 14 inch pizzas (margerita and hot shot) and 2x large fries, 30 quid. Great value. Pizzas were cooked spot on. Zero complaints. The taste, the sauce, the base all great. A really good spot and they have some good offers too to take advantage of. Pizza rating: 7.7”

“This is a good Chinese restaurant with really friendly staff and a menu with a good range of options. There are dishes that you would see at most Chinese restaurants as well as some that are less common, which is always nice to see. They are happy to make reasonable changes to dishes for you. Allergens are labeled on the menu and we've eaten here several times with no issues with allergen cross contamination, even when we haven't specifically pointed it out. The building is an old English pub so from the outside you might not realise that it is a Chinese restaurant, making it feel like a bit of a hidden gem to me! I've visited several times now and will definitely be going back!”

“I don’t know where to start from!! The food was AMAZING and the portions were very generous. We ordered multiple dishes however my favourites were the chicken Malay curry and the lemon and cashew rice. The service was absolutely amazing as the staff kept checking on us to make sure the food was okay and we also got offered multiple free chocolate at the end of our meal. We couldn’t finish out main and a staff member helped with packing our food. Overall a great experience and everyone should try it out:))”

“Best pizza in the area! We can tell the pizzas are made from fresh, good quality ingredients and baked beautifully in a proper stone pizza oven (the crust is on the thin side and crispy). All the different toppings we have had are beautiful, fresh and tasty. The staff are very friendly and professional. We have plenty of pizza takeaways to choose from where we live, but happily travel 20 minutes to get a GOOD pizza. (My partner reacts badly to low quality pizza dough and has NEVER had a problem here. The dough here is fresh and bakes beautifully. Our little girl with sensory issues loves the pizza from here, it's one of very few meals that she actually really loves and gets excited about.) Thanks Dolce Vita! Pls don't go anywhere!”

“Came from down south and have been looking for a chicken place similar to the ones we have there. I swear Yankee’s is it! Their chicken, burgers, and meal sets are literally the best you’ll ever get in Hull. The price is also great, sending me right back to 2015 - those were the bloody good old days. I almost cried when I first tasted it too. Spent 3 years looking for a good halal chicken spot, and it was right next to me the entire time! Love Yankee Chicken!!!”

“One of the best Chinese in hull! If you haven’t tried it yet and love a good Chinese then you need to try some food from here, would definitely recommend it. I am half Chinese myself and man this is some good stuff. Not really a authentic Chinese as most Chinese here have all been westernized but the noodles are banging, starters are banging especially the ribs and satay chicken skewers as this owner isn’t a stingy one and use more peanuts like how it is suppose to actually taste. Main meals taste good also not to salty the sauces taste nice. Portion wise is great also haven’t been disappointed so far with the taste or quality of food. I order takeaway or eat out almost everyday and this Chinese has definitely made it to my list of choices. Never had stomach problems after eating from here compared to some other Chinese takeaways in hull. Only downside is sometimes the waiting time is awful which am guessing they can’t really help because they are so busy and the closing days and times sometimes isn’t so great. Other than that the food is literally worth the wait! Guy on the phone is also always friendly and actually listens to what you are wanting to amend to the order or add etc. Friendly staff/owner. Rating 10/10.”

“After a year of dieting and 50kg down, moving to a new area; I feel lucky to have this Chinese takeaway just down the road from me. I wanted to treat myself & my craving is salt & pepper squid. Coming from the Indian ocean, I appreciate seafood dishes & this is something I look for in quality and quantity. I ordered from the shop website for the first time. I called to confirm they had my order and to my surprise, it was on the way. I was excited because I'd waited all day for a nice treat. I ordered the mixed starter #2 & if it was for 2 people, that would suffice. But, if you're someone who admires flavour and quality then you'd be a fool to share. The squid was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Exceeded my expectations & perfect for my cheat day. The lady on the phone was so lovely. The delivery driver lady was so kind too. I've been all over hull but this one wins my vote for price, quality and customer service. I'd recommend to order from their website to support this brilliant local business.
