“Cerutti 2 is by far my favourite place for seafood/fish in Yorkshire ( yes including Whitby and in years gone by, The Drum and Monkey in Harrogate). This family run business prides itself on the best quality, food,wine, service. When you walk through the door you can smell the aroma of great food from a proper working kitchen..no ready meals waiting for a microwave ping at this establishment. Tina, Tony, Dom and staff are excellent at making suggestions if you are struggling over the wonderful choices and 'specials board'. Nothing is too much trouble..and you are treated exactly the same, whether you're going through the full menu or having a simple dish of Fish & Chips.”

“Followed these guys over the area & never had a bad meal. Went last night for my daughter's birthday with our 2 grandchildren & got a variety of dishes that we could all try. Food was plentiful & came out piping hot. The guys who own this are all very friendly & all like to have a chat when we go in. It's our go to for Bangladeshi food whether it's takeaway or sit in. We are always made to feel so welcome. Tried many dishes off the menu (I am trying to work my way through it!) & never had a bad meal yet. Even when we've had takeaway delivered it's always piping hot when it arrives.”

“Ordered the beef Wellington sharer and 2 desserts as an early birthday treat and really wasn't disappointed. The food was amazing, we've eaten in the restaurant a few times before and knew the food was good, but the beef especially was exceptional. Will definitely be coming into the restaurant when we can again to try this dish again. I can't recommend it enough.”

“I ordered Chicken Tikka Karai, Mushroom omelette, and Tarka dal. All 3 dishes were excellent in quality in terms of taste, potion size and freshness. I came to Hull for work and randomly found this Indian take away on Google map. I have been eating McDonald's, Subway's and Greggs. Today I thought I'll have some hot cooked food and fortunately I found this place right opposite to my accommodation in Holderness road. I was surprised to eat such high quality fresh food with right amount of spice and excellent taste. I will definitely recommend this take away restaurant and I will give a more than Five star rating.”

“We have just enjoyed a takeaway meal for my Grandsons 16th birthday. We all chose different appetisers , main courses and a variety of Rice. We had the smaller portions which were perfect. We all swapped tasters and a great time was had by all. Every mouthful of every dish was absolutely superb and we certainly will use Atiyas for our next celebratory takeaway.”

“Went today after a day at the beach as they do gluten free(yeah my life sucks). Was gonna do takeaway as near closing time but thought we’d ask on table. They were nothing but accommodating. The 4 people on the floor offered excellent service while ensuring I got my gf fish and some gf vinegar. Food was amazing we all loved it. And was great they all said bye to my little boy as we left. He had a huge smile. Highly recommended.”

“We had a wonderful evening tonight having a fantastic meal! We booked last minute but it wasn’t necessary as they had plenty of tables. We were warmly greeted by a waitress who promptly took us to our table. We perused the menu and she returned to take our orders. The drinks came and the prawn crackers and mixed starters followed shortly after. The starters were delicious, hot and tasty! Really enjoyed each one! We ordered different main dishes and again were well cooked and delicious! We will definitely return again and the service was great!!”

“Thai Palace left an absolutely fantastic impression on us. From the moment we stepped inside, we were warmly greeted by the attentive staff, who made us feel truly welcome. The service was exceptional—efficient, friendly, and impressively quick. We were seated and served our drinks within a minute of arriving. The set lunch menu offers incredible value, with a starter and main course priced just under £15. Our food arrived remarkably fast, served piping hot and prepared with fresh ingredients. We waited less than 10 minutes for our starter, and our main followed shortly after. The presentation was equally impressive, showcasing great attention to detail. Though we typically opt for Chinese cuisine, this experience has completely won us over. The menu is extensive, and we are already planning our next visit to explore more dishes. The restaurant itself is stunning, featuring beautiful artwork, stylish tables, and elegant panelled walls. One standout detail was the impeccable cleanliness—it's clear that the staff take great pride in maintaining the space. Without a doubt, Thai Palace has become our new favourite restaurant. “I ordered three pizzas, and I’ll admit, I’m always a bit sceptical because takeaway pizzas usually show up glistening like they’ve had an oil massage. These ones proved me wrong. No grease, great flavour, and they arrived piping hot. Even the doner kebab surprised me . Everything was packaged sensibly too: sauces separate, salad separate, nothing soggy or fighting for its life in the box. Overall, a very solid experience. Consider me officially converted into a regular.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit here. The food was very tasty and portion size very generous to say the least. We will visit again. My wife had a large glass of white wine which appeared to be a medium size and it was £9.50, this was the only negative thing.”

“While we were in the area we booked for a birthday, after a recommendation and can only say we are so grateful. From the initial telephone query, through our arrival, our food, to leaving everything about the evening was fantastic. Great food in a great atmosphere and while some may say that the menu is limited, it is really a case of doing a smaller number of dishes very well. I only wish we lived closer as we would most definitely make it a regular thing.”

“Just had the most AMAZING Ethiopian meal at this restaurant. The lady who served us was so pleasant. She explained everything and kept checking to make sure we were okay. The food was fresh and flavourful. The aroma coming from the kitchen made it worth the wait. We also had an avocado shake that was so good. We live 3 hours away, but if we are ever in Hull again, we will definitely visit this restaurant. Much success to this establishment”

“Lovely meal, I had the steak wrapped in bacon stuffed with Italian blue cheese. It was super tasty. Lots of gluten free options available as they have gluten free pasta and most of meats could be done gluten free. Decent price, really enjoyed it, would go again.”
