“I can’t speak highly enough of FEAD. My daughter has been a member of the academy family for the past 7 years. During that time I’ve watched her go from taking her first tentative steps in ballet shoes to being a confident 15 year old dancing in pointe shoes. At Miss Fleur’s she has had so many amazing and sometimes challenging experiences...dance exams, incredible dance shows, Summer school, dancing in pantomime, introduced to guest dance teachers, parents open day classes and performing at the Grand Prix. My daughter started here in late March and has already made some long life friends and memories and been in her 1st show since being 3 (now 11) her dancing skills and confidence in last 2 months have seriously come on in leaps. They are great with children (in which I found important) and this place is a big dance family within the children. Their dances and shows are seriously different to any other dance place in Hull. “My daughter attends her ballet lessons here with Miss Alex. Cannot fault miss Alex as a teacher, she is incredible, joyful and loving towards the children. My Poppy leaves her ballet class feeling confident and proud and i cannot thank Miss Alex enough for that. The venue is lovely and clean, the ballerina on the driveway is the perfect touch!! Its a perfect little spot for the perfect classes! x Free parking across the road at the trawlerman or in the beachcomber next door. It also has a bus stop directly outside for those who don't drive.”

“The National Picture Theatre is the last bomb damaged building in England. This grade ll listed monument was opened in december 1914. The bomb that destroyed most of the building landed on 18th march 1941, 9.50pm ten minutes before it was due to close. All 150 people in the cinema escaped unhurt. It is presently undergoing restoration.”

“Carol visited our school in July and worked with our nursery, Reception, Year 1 and 2. The children loved the animated story telling, puppets and songs. Our year 2's enjoyed learning how the puppets worked as well. Fantastic resources, engaging stories and songs and encouraging a love for stories and reading, so many learning opportunities.
