“Brilliant museum! One of the best I've been too. Didn't think I'd be bothered with carriages upstairs but it was really well done.”
“I went here today to buy a suit for my wedding and the memory of staff called Johnathan was really helpful he only just started but he was very helpful, we had a great time and a laugh with him and he was very helpful. I don’t wear suits very often so I didn’t know my size in anything and I didn’t know what to go for style wise and he went the extra mile he was extremely helpful I would highly recommend visiting this lovely shop with great staff. Thank you.”
“My wife and I found ourselves hungry and tired from walking around the marina area which is a revelation to see it so much changed. (I am 81 tears old and was born in the city of Hull and know a lot about the place). We called in at the hotel to see if we could get a light lunch and were greeted warmly and our dog was welcomed as well. The meal was superb and the pizza was by far the best I had ever been served anywhere. The staff were helpful and the place was warm and clean. We were served by a guy called Adam. We will certainly return. Robin Taylor.”
“Could not fault the staff. The day before we stayed we had a phone call to ask if it was a special occasion, it was my daughters birthday, they put treats in my daughters room and gave her a card. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. This is the best Premier Inn we have stayed in and that is down to the staff.”
“Hotel is in an excellent location only a few minutes from the station and the town. Staff were friendly and helpful. When the air con in my room stopped working they had someone fix it the same day. Room was clean and breakfast as expected. They also have a left luggage which let me explore the morning I was heading back.”
“Good price, lovely fish, excellent service”
“Third time here loved every stay. Great location local amenities and a perfect break.”
“Wow the pork gyros was full of flavour especially the meat. My friend had a box and the portion sizes were amazing. So glad we picked here to eat whilst on our visit to Hull. Only thing that dropped marks on atmosphere no fault of greko but he market hall itself. is that it closes at 3 which we found quite early. It would have been nicer if the market hall cleaner staff waited until 3 to remove the eating table and pack away as we felt pressure to eat up fast and move tables.it was like a game of packman as tables dissapeared all around us.”
“What a fabulous restaurant, friendly welcome. The mezze platter starter was really delicious and the bread served with it was so good. Mains were all tasty and massive portions, our dogs were very pleased with the leftovers we took home. Exceptional value for money too. Will be going back again soon”
“Check website to see what's open\on. Large free car park, woods, play area, walk to see the sea (careful as erosion at the edge) there's a land train too. Interesting walk round the hall, a zoo with rescued coatis, pigs, birds etc nice cafe too after walking round the gardens. Great day out!”
“This is a fantastic place with some arresting art. I enjoyed my visit and it is free. Definitely go here when in Hull.”
“We stayed in the hotel whilst visiting a family member who was in hospital. The room was very clean and cosey and the staff were exceptional! They were always friendly and went out of their way to help us and solve any problems we had, including posting our spare car keys to us after we left them behind. The hotel is close to the town centre without being too close and parking is no problem.”

“Went to a baby shower at the restaurant @ the Gardeners country inn today 1/10/22. The owners/managers were such lovely people and went over and above to make sure we had a lovely time. Food excellent, staff couldn’t do enough for us and the venue was just perfect. Lovely place to have a wedding/christening or party. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Thank you all.”
“The National Picture Theatre is the last bomb damaged building in England. This grade ll listed monument was opened in december 1914. The bomb that destroyed most of the building landed on 18th march 1941, 9.50pm ten minutes before it was due to close. All 150 people in the cinema escaped unhurt. It is presently undergoing restoration.”
“Brilliant café with really nice food. Staff are mature, very professional and very considerate. Lovely coffee, tasty snacks and food and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend this hidden gem to couples and families without young children for a small meals, hot drinks, refreshing beers or soft drinks. You will not be disappointed”
