“Great thanks to Caroline who accommodated me, my partner and all our requests. We really enjoyed the performance and couldn’t have done it without her! Thanks again :)”
“Very friendly staff, very helpful. Nice store. Would prefer to see the reduction offers in one place and more signage other than the small signs on the shelf. Lots of 50% reductions. Was happy with my purchases.”
“Just been for my first Covid vaccine jab at Castleford Civic Centre. Excellently organized by everyone. Nurses doing an outstanding job. Thank you very much for everyone involved.”
“A great place, a smaller theatre, is sometimes the best. Especially when you see your bro's play.”
“Fabulous venue. Who doesn't love a free festival! Can't rate it enough. It gets better and better every year.”
“My daughter has absolutely thrived here. The staff are so attentive to the children and their range of activities are great. They go above and beyond to make the nursery as exciting and engaging as possible. Love the animal visits (reindeer at Christmas, baby owls and lambs at Easter, who wouldn't love that!?) Wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Toybox to any fellow parent wanting excellent childcare.”
“Nice place to stay and the food seems nice and the drinks are made with love and a nice accent! Thanks to Zarah for the smile, the french language with almost no accent and the nice note :) I won't be coming back anytime soon because I'm living quite far but if I ever come again near, I'l come say hi for sure! Thanks a lot :)”
“Love it here! First time visiting today with my 9 month old son (can crawl and stand). There’s an absolutely brilliant baby section, babies from probably about 4-5 months would probably enjoy this area with the sensory aspects of it. There’s an under 4s section which is nice but small. Then a larger play area for bigger kids. The play centre, toilets, tables etc are all so clean and welcoming. There’s free parking. The food and drinks are also really well priced. It was really busy In the school holidays but I’d imagine in term time it might be a bit quieter. Still busy or not busy it’s a brilliant place to go!”
“According of my experience and what I saw i always see potential on this community park / memorial park / Easy way to say I love this place and hope to see to grow into something positive and unique.”
“Lovely staff, lovely toys all clean and looked after. Great location. We attend the baby group and have for months. Great food options, reasonable price. It really is the ladies who run it that make it.”
“Love this area. Paths are well laid out and most of them are mobility scooter/wheelchair friendly. Great to let your dog off the lead. Not just paths but nature areas as well. Highly recommended”
“Absolutely amazing, staff were great, place was great and even accommodated a large party on short notice of another venue letting us down. Would recommend to anyone for drinks, food or bookings!! You don't get business owners in public houses like this anymore, Sam, Sharon and the team are a cut above the rest!”
“Had a lovely couple of hours with my two children. The equipment kept them busy the whole time. Staff were lovely and the food was cheap and good portion sizes. Perfect to let the kids run their energy off for a few hours. Highly recommend to all parents :)”
“Love this place, although it can get busy at times, it's easy to book and my toddler loves it. Probably one of the best around in Wakefield.”
