“The only place you need for burgers and shakes! Angry Angus smash burger was flavoursome with plenty of caramelised onions. Strawberry milkshake was thick and fresh with actual strawberries. The owner doesn’t skimp on ingredients and it shows in the quality of the meals. Golden doughnuts with a choice of sweet toppings rounded off an excellent meal.”

“The real experts. Went to a Mercedes dealership who charged me £200 for a diagnostic. They then quoted me a further £500 in labour for exploring the problem. Lost faith in Mercedes.. Took the car to Pete at Prestige. Looked at the faults, diagnosed a faulty crash collision sensor as the root cause of faults on dash. 2 days, diagnosed, fixed. These guys have the diagnostic experience that Mercedes unfortunately don’t seem to, even though Mercedes labour charges are twice the price. Genuine guys 10/10”

“I went to screwfix as an ignoramus. I measured everything, had taken photos and had some idea what I wanted. The guys at Screwfix, Monks Cross were superb! They didn't treat me like an eejit, they were very respectful, knowledgeable and honestly, could not have done any more for me. They showed endless patience and solved all bar one of my problems. The one unsolved problem, they gave me suggestions on where to go for the part I need. I was really worried about going into a place like this, knowing what I wanted but not knowing how to ask for it and looking a complete idiot. I won't have those worries again, thanks to the guys at Monks Cross Screwfix, one of which was Tom, didn't get the other guy's name, but he had a grey beard. “What a fantastic place for children who love Lego. We visited today and attended the Wizarding Event. Arrived at 10am and it finished at 3:30pm we had a whole day of Lego fun and bath bomb making! I was a bit dubious when we arrived at the location but be deceived when it’s a Lego builders dream inside! The time and effort they put into interacting with the children was fantastic!
