“Went in during the half term, with my daughter's school laptop. From the phone call I made to Computer Gentle, before going in with said laptop, we suspected it was a hinge failure. I was quite worried about how long it would take to get the parts in and what would be the cost. I took the laptop in that same day, so Rukun could take a look at it and diagnose the problem. It turns out that the screws of the back case had just wobbled loose and all it needed was tightening! Rukun was knowledgeable, very informative, helping me to understand what had happened, how to prevent future occurrences and most importantly, an honest person. He could have easily made the job bigger than it was - he didn't. I respect and value that, and would not hesitate in recommending Computer Gentle!”

“I went to screwfix as an ignoramus. I measured everything, had taken photos and had some idea what I wanted. The guys at Screwfix, Monks Cross were superb! They didn't treat me like an eejit, they were very respectful, knowledgeable and honestly, could not have done any more for me. They showed endless patience and solved all bar one of my problems. The one unsolved problem, they gave me suggestions on where to go for the part I need. I was really worried about going into a place like this, knowing what I wanted but not knowing how to ask for it and looking a complete idiot. I won't have those worries again, thanks to the guys at Monks Cross Screwfix, one of which was Tom, didn't get the other guy's name, but he had a grey beard. I will from now on, continue to go to Screw fix every time I need some, safe in the knowledge I am likely to get exactly what I need, with expert advice, all at a reasonable price.
