“We absolutely love this kennel! Our dog Dexter always comes back happy, healthy, and well cared for. The staff are kind, professional, and clearly love animals. It gives us peace of mind knowing that Dexter is in such good hands while we're away. We wouldn't take him anywhere else. Highly recommended!”
“Highly recommended! Lovely place. Love how they put updates on social media daily, its a lovely touch. My dog loves it here. The staff are lovely and caring and can tell it's not just "a job" for them.”
“Both our dogs Billy & Jack stay a few times a year. Jo and her team are fantastic. Jack had a spinal injury 4 years ago and once he was walking again albeit somewhat wobbley Jo was able to start taking him again. The boys love it. We are very reassured when they stay”
“First time we have used elmsall kennels and I can say will definitely use them again. Mabel our 2 year labrador was a little nervous but she is of most people to begin with . But they put my mind at ease straite away with how genuinely caring they where with her. We picked her up two weeks later and mabel was fine well cared for not just left in a cage till we came back . She was walked twice a day compared to the previous one last year that she stayed in . So basically if you love your dog or cat I would highly recommend elmsall kennels and cattery. 10/10”
“Lovely owners, very welcoming. Great facilities, very clean, very spacious. Each cat was able to go outside in enclosed space if they wanted too. Food was provided, cat was looked after well. Updates were given throughout the week. My cat is a rescue cat and I was nervous about putting him in a cattery but there was no reason for me to be nervous, seems like he's had a great time. I paid an extra fee so that my cat could be picked up from my house and dropped off which was very helpful. Will definitely use again in the future!”
“5* + | My Whippet was extremely well taken care of during his three week stay at Spire View, so much so I think he misses his kennel based holiday. I cannot recommend this kennel facility highly enough.”
“We have been coming to Laburnum Kennels for many years, and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Our dog is well looked after and all the staff give first class service every time. We would highly recommend this kennels.”
“Used Ardsley Boarding kennels recently for the first time and can't thank them enough! It was Luna's first time in kennels so was a little apprehensive leaving her for 2 weeks, However Ardsley kennels kept me regularly updated on her. She was very happy when I collected her this morning and smelt lovely after having a bath during her stay! Would highly recommend and will definitely be using again!!! Thankyou ☺️”
“I was so nervous leaving my little ones for the first time. Oakenshaw were flawless in caring for my boys and keeping me updated whenever I emailed on their progress. They came home happy and clearly very well looked after . Thank you again to all staff there that took on my baby boys and cared so well for them . Big thumbs up. Will deffo be back”
“My Labrador Ruby spent her first week at the Moss side kennels. She was noticeably very happy when she went in and equally happy when we collected her. This is a lovely well-run kennels, set in a beautiful location, clean and very well run. All the staff treat your pet as if it was their own. She’s been extremely well looked after by all. I’m so glad my daughter found these brilliant kennels and cattery and I would always know that my nearly 12 year old Labrador Ruby would be very happy there. Thankyou so much for caring for her Gary and Ruth and all the lovely kennel girls and boys. From Christine Hopkins ( very satisfied customer! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Our cat has boarded a few times now at Hartley Wood and been very well looked after. Its clear the owners care a lot about all the animals, I feel very confident leaving Martha in the care of Malcom. Would definitely recommend.”
“Our fur baby Cheese was well looked after. Beautiful & clean cattery. He stayed for a week in a well equipped very large room with heated bedding and access to his own private catio. Lots of "Catit" accessories (personally great for our fur baby help to slow his eating & he is used to this brand too) plenty of room to run & play. Good variety of rooms with different styles. There's a room for more active cats with cat a wheel & more climbing available or for shy cats with lots of places to hide. Every option had different levels for cats to find their comfort space. Personally, I love that each space has floor to ceiling window with a upvc door to enter. This is so much better than some catteries that have the cage type where all the cats can hear each other and set one another off. Highly recommend. Our furbaby came home very happy & healthy after his stay. Thank you for looking after Cheese. We'll see you soon for our next break. Can't wait now as I know he'll be happy & well cared for when we next go away.”
“Superb service and an excellent environment. I have been using these kennels for the last 6 years and would highly recommend”
“We use Harlow kennels regularly for day boarding and for longer holidays. The staff are amazing, so helpful and friendly! Our rescue dog is very nervous and they have helped her settle in really well. Would thoroughly recommend.”
“I have been boarding my two German Shepherds here since they were pups, sadly we lost one last year to cancer but we still take his brother who will be 10 years old this year. They are absolutely brilliant with him. We have moved out of the area but will continue to make the 2 hour journey for as long as he lives, because I have total peace of mind. If we get more doggies in the future, we would definitely use boothwood kennels.”
“We have just used homefarm kennels for the first time and just wanted to thank you for making me feel so comfortable leaving my very much loved dogs with you. I’ve not kennelled my 4 and 5 year old dogs before and was so anxious. I googled and researched and rang a few and I was told by 2 other kennels that I would have to book a minimum of one week if it was august time. I was quite shocked because I didn’t need a week. When I spoke with yourselves you explained we could have as minimal days as we needed. I booked from Friday to Wednesday as we was getting married and wasn’t sure if we was also going to go away for a couple of nights. We decided not to go away and to pick the dogs up a few days early as we’d missed them with it being the first time they’d been left. When we collected Bella and Theo they were so happy to see us but they were also loving the young girl that worked there. I could tell they’d been well looked after and have been fine since being home. Just a little tired. I was also credited for the nights they didn’t stay which I’m so surprised as it was our decision to get them early. It shows it’s not all about the money like the ones that wanted a minimum of a weeks booking!! I’m am so happy and now we have booked our first family holiday in years because we now know we can leave our dogs and be confident they are looked after, thank you so much.”
“My review is not about looking after my bearded collie Bubba. That is always fantastic, I sometimes feel he'd rather stay there than come hope to us ! No, my review is about the helpfulness and sensitivity of the staff. I recently returned from Croatia and was quite literally in bagggage reclaim when I got a call to say my father had died that morning. He had lived alone in Chester and I had to go there. Of course we were supposed to pick Bubba up and I knew the kennels were very busy. Nonetheless when I explained the circumstances they could not have been more helpful and sympathetic - Bubba could stay longer. That was enormously helpful and very much appreciated. They were equally accommodating (and equally busy) when they fitted him in when I had to go the funeral. Thank you North Rigton you are marvelous !”
“This is the 2nd time I have taken my dog to Westmead kennels. The 1st time my dog was very anxious and nervous and stand offish with the staff, but they worked with misty(dog) as well as messaging myself and keeping me updated on her welfare and progress. I have picked misty up this morning from her 2nd stay, and she has absolutely loved it, gained weight and had walks and playtime every day. Could not recommend this kennels enough. Staff are lovely, kennels are clean and cleaned out on a regular basis. This is the only kennels I will ever take my dog!”
“Absolutely amazing care provided for our dog, Rusby, he always goes in wagging his tail and very excited! We know he is always in safe hands here and Shelby is just brilliant with him ❤️”
