“The experience of Birmingham airport checking in was awful. Basically 2 hrs of standing up queuing. Isle of Man was lovely, great scenery, lots of interesting places to visit. Trains and trams were brilliant. Hotel Chesterhouse in Douglas was very. Life, room with great sea view. Food was excellent and staff very friendly and welcoming.”

“We were recommended the Red Cow by a friend who visits regularly. We didn’t have a starter as we’re not big eaters, but we like quality, and the food certainly delivered on taste, visual appeal and portion size. It is a warm, welcoming place with friendly and attentive staff. If I were picky, I’d have to say that the “Classic” cocktails failed to include actual classics, like Old Fashioneds, Gin Martinis, Ginlets etc. However, Julie took our direction and got the bar person to mix gin martinis to our specifications. They were great!”
