“Hidden gem. Stay Classy! £4 Stella.”
“We started our search for a local coffee provider a few weeks back and came across Two Brothers Coffee located in Warrington Market. We decided to have a coffee at the coffee shop before we purchased a bag of coffee. I opted for the Rwanda Kirambo 123 coffee which has a taste of Turkish Delight. The coffee took a while to brew but was worth the wait, I could taste the Turkish Delight and Cola Bottle flavour. The service was great. So let’s talk about the 2 bags of coffee I ordered. I had to get the Rwanda coffee and also bought a large bad of Brazil Ibiraci coffee. Once home I loaded the Brazil coffee into my Sage machine and produced what can only be described as a premium cup of coffee! Hands down this is one of the best coffees I have had. I had this coffee both black and with a latte. I highly recommend Two Brothers Coffee if you love your coffee as much as we do!”

“Review: Fantastic Vegetarian-Friendly Sandwich Shop If you're a vegetarian (or just love a great sandwich), this shop is an absolute gem! They offer an impressive variety of vegetarian options, from classic combos to inventive, flavorful creations that make you forget you're skipping the meat. The ingredients are always fresh, the bread is perfectly baked, and they clearly put thought into every layer of their sandwiches. What really stands out is the attention they give to vegetarians—there's no shortage of options, and everything feels thoughtfully crafted, not just an afterthought. The portions are generous, so you leave feeling satisfied, but the prices remain very reasonable. For the quality and variety they offer, it's great value for money. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for lunch, this spot should be on every vegetarian’s list. Highly recommend!”
“Exelent pub and music venue, top quality music and great staff running the Place, safe friendly environment but still loud and fun atmosphere, n £2.70 for a house larger in a city is the icing on the cake. Highly recommended”

“I work as delivery driver and frequently visit cafes up and down the country. Heaths kitchen is up there with the best absolutely faultless. Full English is out of this world 10 out of 10”
“The Tigers Head now has Landlady Tracy at the helm, and the pub has returned to being what it used be, ie a good local pub that serves good food and is all the better for it. We stayed in our motorhome on the grassed area at the rear of the pub which is free if you eat at the Tigers. Keralan Curry was particularly excellent as was the Chicken Ceasar Salad, and reasonably priced too. It would be nice to see the moho fraternity return here and support this quintessentially English pub, set in the delightful village of Norley. N.B. No need to bring supplies with you, there's a little shop opposite the pub which seems to stock everything!”
“4 of us turned up without reservation. Welcome wash really nice, service attentive without being overbearing. Food just great honest Italian dishes. Proper nice olives, always a sign that they care! Although living very far away we will defo return here when in town. Well done all!”
“Lovely food and always served with a smile”
“It's always a good night out. Bar staff are always polite and friendly. It's much cleaner than it used to be too. The much needed refurb hasn't taken away any of its charm.”
“Went for lunch on recommendation of a friend and wasnot disappointed. Had the 3 course fixed price lunch. Lovely fresh cooked food, generous portion, great value for money. Friendly staff, though did seem to be a little short handed. Lovely environment, nice and clean, plenty of parking. Will definitely be back.”
“Lovely morning spent! Lively atmosphere and lovely attentive staff even though they were very busy. Good value for money and gorgeous food. We’ll be back.”
“Welcoming pub, decent selection of drinks, good atmosphere and can play pool. Would love a dart board in there too. Dog-friendly.”
“Delicious beer at reasonable prices. The little garden at the back is great to relax. I found them much more welcoming to foreigners than other local pubs.”
“We first visited this pub well over 25 years ago for a well earned date night whilst we had a 2 hour babysitter . Sat outside with a bottle of wine and watched the farmer gathering his crops with a combine harvester from the field opposite . This memory has remained with us for all these years . We actually thought the pub had been demolished until by pure fluke we drove past a couple of weeks ago and realised it was still there and thriving ! Called in again for a few drinks sat outside looking at the same farmers field but without the combine unfortunately ! We booked for dinner this evening and all I can say is WOW ! Amazing atmosphere ! Fabulous food ! Great value for money ! Had the chicken & leek pie and couldn’t finish it as I was so full ! Copious amounts of chicken in the pie and mountains of well cooked veg ! Absolutely 10 out of 10 Staff are courteous and attentive and land lord & land lady are simply beautiful & welcoming ! Will definitely be back !!”
“Always enjoy our meals in here. They offer a gluten free menu, prices are decent, broad selection of drinks. Good friendly honest service. Have come a few times now both at lunch and tea. Kids loved playing footy outside in summer. Can be busy but it's a great pub so it will be. Prefer sitting outside with dog as its less noisy, hot and crowded for them. Highly recommended.”
“On behalf of Carol and Geoff, would like to thank all the staff at Oliver’s who helped make our day so special. Fabulous food, fantastic service and amazing hosting. Would definitely recommend for any family celebration.”

“21ST MAY 2025. Wandering Wednesday’ took Hubby Neil and I, just a few miles down the road in Lowton to…….. ‘The Travellers Rest’, there are so many places we have passed over the years and never ventured in side, as we’ve always tended to eat on our door step or simply returned with the pubs we liked….. this is definitely one of those pub ‘Gems’ that we have missed out on over the years….. inside the decor is tastefully done and the restaurant was pristine. Our servers today were Destiny, Dylan, Catherine and Kay, they were all very polite, smiley, professional and attentive, they gave a great all round service….. also a big shout out to the chefs in the background, your food presentation was perfect, all the dishes were delicious and piping hot….. Thank you, you are all massive credit to this establishment. Staters: We both had the same, which was Crispy Black Pudding & Bacon Stack, served on a Bubble & Squeak cake and drizzled with a creamy peppercorn sauce, garnished with pea shoots…. Entrée’s: Neil had a fillet of Salmon, with asparagus, lay on a bed of mixed salad, along with hot new potatoes and all drizzled with a creamy dill dressing…. I had: Homemade Pie and Chips….. Chicken, Bacon & Vegetable pie, served with triple cooked chips, accompanied with seasonal vegetables of tenderstem broccoli, sliced leek, green beans and proper thick, rich gravy…. The pie was filled to the brim with big chunks of the filling and again everything was piping hot…. So tasty. We shared sliced white bloomer and butter, even the bread was light and fluffy! So the question is? Would we go back???? At the drop of a hat!! 100% YES!”
“I arrived at the Horseshoe Inn after struggling to find a nearby lunchtime venue with an attractive variety of food on the menu. Here I found the true Lord of the Pies and am now a devotee! This first time I dined on his award winning Braised Beef masterpiece with Truffle and Parmesan mash and will definitely return to taste more and more. There’s also plentiful choice for vegetarian diners.”
