“Amazing. Find it hard of where to start with the compliments about this place. As we walked in, we were welcomed like friends into a house. The food was delicious, Chinese for lunch, HECK YEAH! Flavourful and cooked perfectly! Energy in this place is infectious and already excited about my next visit. To the Waley team, stay awesome and keep smiling those wicked smiles”
“Wow the food here is genuinely phenomenal. Easily the best takeout I've had in ages! We ordered curry chicken, jerk chicken and curry goat. Every single dish was a hit and I can't wait to have leftovers tomorrow. Thanks guys!”
“This is a very special place. Zero Clucks Given is a plant based fast food restaurant where you can eat in our dine out. The food is truly amazing. Whether you are plant based or not you have to try it if you are in the area. It is jam packed full of flavour and you wouldn't know it was plant based. We ordered OG Southern Fried Burgers, Animal Style Fries, Mac n Chease with Bac'n bits and salt and pepper spring rolls. It was all amazing, seriously amazing. We probably orders too much, but we had been meaning to go there for a long time, and went a bit mad. Can't end without mentioning the really funky interior, decorated with graffiti, with quotes and images of famous Vegans. We'll be back very soon.”
“Best onion and garlic soup i have ever tasted.plus lovely lamb chops.”
“We discovered this place by accident, and what a hidden gem it is! The food was brilliant, I especially liked the ‘wings’ and my husband loved the bao buns. We’re vegan and loved it but imagine non-vegans would too. We chatted with the staff a bit too and they were super nice.”
“Outstanding food, really great people and a good price! Definitely recommend nothing else like this around! Mac and cheese was incredible! Really great fresh ingredients. Cannot fault it!”
“I’ve ordered from here a few times now. Haven’t dined in yet just delivery and take away. It’s great for burgers! Really recommend the milkshakes too. The staff are polite and welcoming, even giving us a couple of drinks on the house. Little touches like this really make the place worth while.”
“Absolutely unreal food . Very friendly staff , would recommend 100% worth it .”
“A traditional pub feel, but NOT old stuffy. Dropped in for a swift pint and was so taken by the atmosphere, excellent beer (I had the porter) and a superb pizza, I just had to stay for another.”
“Great local restaurant! A large menu sometimes spells trouble but not here. Top quality, often with veg from their on site garden. The vegan roast is exceptional on Sundays. Great desserts, good for kids, great staff, top all round”
“Called in on the off chance as we were early for a meeting so decided to get some food and drinks. We were greeted by a young lady who asked if we had a booking a first for a little high st cafe. I assume it gets busy as they serve afternoon tea. I was also pleantly surprised of the hygiene it didn't smell of cooking fat at all and all the surfaces were spotless no greasy residue. Layout was light and airy with great spacing between tables so you was not on top of other customers like a lot of small cafes. The decor was nice and the pastel colours of light pinks made for a relaxing experience and the ceiling was adorned with bunting again very clean for a cafe. The menu catered for all tastes and diet requirements vegan veggie and carnivores all catered for. There is a lot of choice from English breakfast of varying sizes, burgers, lasagne etc and the soup of the day looked amazing "bubble n squeak soup" I do wish I had tried some it looked really good but I opted a full english as the menu mentioned locally sourced free range eggs and I was quiet hungry. The standard breakfast had 1 bacon 1 sausage 1 perfectly cooked oranges yolked egg beans in a ramakin grilled tomato toast a hash brown and we got extra black pudding accompanied with a pot of tea for 2. Top quality ingredients bacon tasted like back back should I never noticed and fat on it sausage was tasty no of those herb just a decent pork sausage again not fat or gristle. I would have preferred a tinned tomato but it wasn't a big deal. Good pot of twinings English tea and a little pot of milk. On of the best breakfast if tasted in a long while keep up the good work great staff. Deffo worth a visit if your in the area”
“Me and my wife had an amazing meal here, with the best grilled fish we have had in the UK. All of the appetisers, salads and desserts were fabulous too, and above all the staff was incredible and made sure we had a great experience. Definitely recommend. Andy and the other staff were fantastic!!”
“Found this lovely cafe, parking just outside. Seating outside and inside. Came here for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Full English £9.00 , coffee extra. Breakfast was delicious, lovely sausages and good quality bacon and not greasy. Beautifully presented . The staff were lovely and very helpful and once ordered came out quickly. Make sure you come here, good quality food. Superb.”
“Got an incredible Pizza from here on Deliveroo! Unreal - possible the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. 100% will not be the last pizza I eat from this place”
“It really impressed me that the food was delicious, and with a very good price. The Chef and Maz were very friendly as well. seasoned aubergine was beautiful, we enjoyed the food very much so forgot to take the photo at the beginning, definitely recommend.”
“Only manage to get here on my days off, but went in this morning and it's consistently good - we've been here lots of time and it's always great and the girls serving are lovely too.”
“"In a neat little town on the Mersey The town of Birkenhead. There's a neat little pub Called the "Piggy" With a dirty-big barman called Ted Where we all drink together Together for evermore And when we all sing together The Piggy's the Albert Hall" Gerry Murphy 1980”
“We have been here so so many times and have never been dissapointed and tonight was no exception. Having not been for while (due to illness) the manager made such a fuss as he hadn't seen us for a while. The food is always the best standard I've tasted outside of turkey itself! The staff are magnificent, so welcoming and always have a conversation and chat. The girl who served us is a credit to the place too, she has amazing people and service skills. Thanks for making such a fuss of dad for his birthday you don't know much it meant for us to get him there tonight. You really did make his day.”
“The service is good, food is tasty and spicy .”
“Our first visit here last night and definitely not the last! A beautiful, comfortable restaurant with very friendly and attentive staff. The menu has a great choice offering the usual dishes you'd expect as well as their chefs specials , I highly recommend you try these! I ordered the lamb chops for a starter and they were the best I've had in an Indian restaurant, very juicy and flavoursome. Not over charred as I often find in some places. For mains we tried the Chicken Bombay and garlic chilli chicken , both were extra tasty! We had the garlic fried rice and their ' Khans rice ' - this isn't on the menu so you need to ask for it! It was amazing. And a keena naan - delicious. They don't serve alcohol but you are welcome to bring your own , there is a shop next door which will sort you out ! Presentation of the dishes was lovely too! Pram, wheelchair and family friendly . 100 recommend”
“I recently had the pleasure of eating here and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was wonderfully calm with no loud background music, which made for a perfect setting to enjoy a meal and have a conversation. The cleanliness of the place was noticeable and I found the seats to be surprisingly comfortable. We decided to sample a variety of starters, and every single dish great. Although the portions were more tapas-sized, the quality of the food more than made up for it. Each dish was meticulously prepared and the sauces are clearly made in-house, were bursting with flavours. The grilled chicken was the only slight letdown, as it was a bit dry for my taste. However, the wings were a standout - extremely tender and flavorful. If you’re a fan of calamari, you're in for a treat. The calamari had a great crumb, the squid was thick and juicy, not at all rubbery. Another highlight was the cocktails. They were strong, with no skimping on the alcohol Overall, my experience at this restaurant was fantastic. The quiet, clean, and comfortable environment combined with the high-quality flavorful food !ade for a memorable dining experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, especially to try their steak. A big thank you to the team for the tasty meal and excellent service!”
“Comfortable atmosphere. Food is fantastic. Jessica & John are very friendly and cheerful. They deliver very professional service. I love all the food that Jessica, the restaurant manager recommended.”
“Always absolutely stunning, delicious food, great variety on menu. Fresh and plentiful. The guys here go out of their way and tweak their curries to prepare them how you like. Very friendly, fast and reasonably priced. Been going for years at least twice a month. Best curry ever.”
“This is one of the many good Indian Restaurants/Takeaways in the local area. Saying that, Zeera is absolutley one of the best. Both takeaway and dining in, is brilliant. The takeaway is easy to order over the phone, and is always either made to a time selected by yourself, or if given a time to collect, it is near enough always ready to collect. Further to that you get a 15% discount which makes it a really good option. Dining in, is also pleasant. The staff here are always dressed smartly and are friendly. The food is always tasty, consistent and the atmosphere is nice. Zeera has been around for years, and is highly recommended.”
“The Breakfast Binlid is fantastic- I go straight to Oakesy’s after the gym and the breakfast binlid keeps me full all day. Super tasty, very reasonably priced and great service it makes a great start to the day. From someone who loves their butty shops this must be one of the best!”
“Fun little pub with great atmosphere!”
“Twice I've been in here now on way down to Wales. Great wee cafe, seating inside, parking outside and on main road with good close connections to and from motorway. Much better than motorway services and the lassie (Claire I think) is lovely. Well worth the short drive off motorway 3 item breakfast roll, toast or bread...£2.85.... Can't beat that! Unbiased review as all my others are.... Transportation operator fromf Scotland & well travelled in UK and Europe.”
“This restaurant is absolutely perfect. The food... on point. Melts in your mouth. Explosion of flavours. Zero reasons to complain. Big shout out to the chef, absolute legend. The restaurant is cosy and the decor is beautiful. The service very polite and welcoming. I have been here several times and will be returning.”
“My boys absolutely love this place and so inclusive for my boys Nathaniel, Charlie and Oliver. All the team are great and they learn some great football skills too. We have had their birthday parties here two now and all done fantastically. Support local folks !”
“My family and I went for a late breakfast with my grandson and thoroughly enjoyed our meals which were all different. We asked for vinegar and they were more than happy to run out and buy some as theirs had been sadly pinched. The food was delicious and we have all been back since.”
