“Lovely little shop which I regularly use although because of available space can sometimes feel a bit cramped.Staff are friendly and helpful and get to know their regular customers”
“I want to express my deepest gratitude to the wonderful staff at our local Co-op. My autistic son managed to leave home on his own and went to Co-op and instead of treating him like just another customer, the staff went above and beyond to ensure his safety by bringing him back home. Their kindness, awareness, and genuine care meant the world to us. Their service is not just transactional, it is truly personal. They treat people with dignity, patience, and compassion and that speaks volumes about the values of this store and its team. I also genuinely enjoy shopping in this little Co-op. It has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff always make the experience pleasant. We are very lucky to have such an exceptional team in our community. Thank you again for your outstanding service and kindness. You are truly appreciated.”
“Fantastic free from ambient section! Make sure you sign up for a Nectar card too, great savings to be had.”
“Great shopping centre, it is not large by any means, but it has quite a few 'big name' shops. For example Asda, B&M, Home bargains, Greggs etc. The atmosphere is great and there is a cafe at one end that sells lovely roast dinners and more for a very reasonable price. The cafe is called Planet Coffee House and Grill and I would certainly recommend it. There are also free public toilets in the centre, which are clean and free to use, for a change. One of the shops I haven't mentioned, QVC Outlet. It sells the returns from the shopping channel. There can be some bargains here, but it is by chance of what has been bought and returned. The centre is always clean and tidy.”
“A very good place to pick up bargains. Staff are pleasant. I use it quite a lot.”
“Stayed in Newton for a month and came here nearly everyday… Fresh baked goods, solid meat selection, and plenty of fruits/vegs. Coming from Hawaii the prices were absolutely better. The quality of everything blew our minds. Back home there is a lack of “organic” options. Imagine paying $2 for one apple in Hawaii while for 99p you could get six! We spent probably £400-500 here where we would have spent $2,200+ at home for the same stuff.”

“New shop just opened today, lovely guy snd his wife who were so helpful and friendly, good prices and stock, nice being someone's first customer”
“This is a fantastic corner shop. It has such a wide range of products. From soft drinks to alcohol, fresh and frozen food, daily newspapers and much more. The shop is always clean, well-stocked, and welcoming. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, which makes every visit a pleasure. It’s a really nice place to go, whether you’re popping in for something quick or doing a small shop. Highly recommend”
“Great place. Good customer service.”
“I travel from Newton-le-Willows. Range of all spices, rice, fresh herbs, fresh great quality meats, Can pay with card which helps and close to all other amenities.”

“Store well stocked pop into a family day out”
“A great convenience store. By that I mean that you can rely on it being open on a Sunday after other shops have all shut at 4.30 pm”
“This place has a 24 hour paypoint. Unfortunately it isn't listed as such on the paypoint website and this doesn't show in Google maps either but others do.”
“Lovely staff, great place to shop”
“P & S Late Shop is a great little local spot. Always well-stocked, prices are fair, and the staff are friendly and welcoming every time I go in. You can tell it’s run by people who actually care about their customers. It’s convenient, reliable, and open late can’t ask for more from your local off-licence!”
“I would totally disagree that staff members aren't taking this unprecedented pandemic seriously. They are bright and cheerful, which is the totally attitude and spirit we should all embrace. They are working tirelessly to provide a safe environment, with social distancing and a one way systems both inside the store, as well as outside. The main difficulties they are encountering is noncompliance to these procedures from ignorant and arrogant individuals, who are rude and thoughtless. I only have praise for the staff, who have always been extremely helpful and pleasant. They are a credit to the company. The manager and staff members go above and beyond in my opinion and experience. Keep up the good work and realise that you are supported and appreciated by the majority.”
“I think the shop has changed for best staff seem happier shelves are fuller I find the manager very friendly as all the staff are .”
“When I entered the store I was greeted by a young girl called Beth, she was very helpful and took me to the product I was looking for! Great deals since the more card can be used in store! Would recommend :)”
“Morrisons Leigh is lovely and clean. Not a lot of hussle and bustle as in some of the bigger superstores I've been too. There's one way in and then they've put another way to go out. Cleaning stations before you go in and just inside the foyer. Has a wide range of products. Not a lot of clothes but quite a selection of children's clothes. Household good and everything in between. If something has run out in one supermarket, I recently couldn't find catfood that my cat normally eats anywhere, popped in, and more than a good selection. Has a deli section, that does close earlier than the supermarket. It's usually open until 10pm weekdays.”
