“I gained a 2:1 in Electrical and Electronic Engineering here. Good course with great tutors. Like everything in life, the more you put in the more you get out. I got involved with the Guild of Students (students union), which put me in contact with students from across the whole university. In my final year I had a serious illness and was given a leave of absence and allowed to repeat the year at no extra cost. Support and assistance was always available and if you didn't know from where you could just drop into the Guild's offices and ask. At the start of the course you are told to read the regulations and assessment criteria for your programme, many students don't and that's why they are taken by surprise by some rules. Most assessments have two opportunities to pass but sometimes they don't or the student runs out of time. That is the regulations state that the course must be completed including all assessments within so many years of enrollment, normally it's twice as long as the course, so a three year degree must be completed within six years. I sat on the Appeals committee as a student representative, it's surprising how many students run out the clock. One took six years on their first year and was asking for an extension of another six years, hoping to complete level 4 the following year. Unfortunately, the maximum time limit is a regulation set in stone and although we could allow them time to complete the course the fees would apply for every year, a degree could not be awarded if they passed.”

“I cannot fault the service I have received from Steggles Wealth Management. I felt we received excellent, well informed advice with no pressure and communication was superb. I certainly feel I can trust Chris and the team with my financial affairs and would recommend highly.”
“Great place! My daughter has been going for nearly 5 years and her confidence has grown massively. Teachers are fab.”
“Great educational institute. Tutors are exceptional in the Mathematics, Computer Science and Politics department. Great support and high teaching standards. Tutors give their time for students outside of lessons and are approachable. If you want to learn (especially A-Levels), would recommend Coleg Cambria (Yale).”
