“Omg I can’t say how much this has changed me as a middle aged menopausal over weight woman. I am now a much fitter thinner and much more confident sassy woman. Amy and Laura and the crew are the most empowering women I have ever had the pleasure to meet and I now call friends. Being completely out of my comfort zone was a huge thing but this is the best way to overcome those fears with like minded people who understand no matter what size age shape sex.”

“Had my Grandsons christening last Sunday. Lovely room, ladies behind the bar were lovely, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was large, pleasant and we were lucky enough to be able to use the balcony. The addition of the 2nd room for the buffet was ideal. We will definitely use again for any upcoming family functions. Thanks all concerned. Xx”
“I gained a 2:1 in Electrical and Electronic Engineering here. Good course with great tutors. Like everything in life, the more you put in the more you get out. I got involved with the Guild of Students (students union), which put me in contact with students from across the whole university. In my final year I had a serious illness and was given a leave of absence and allowed to repeat the year at no extra cost. Support and assistance was always available and if you didn't know from where you could just drop into the Guild's offices and ask. At the start of the course you are told to read the regulations and assessment criteria for your programme, many students don't and that's why they are taken by surprise by some rules. Most assessments have two opportunities to pass but sometimes they don't or the student runs out of time. That is the regulations state that the course must be completed including all assessments within so many years of enrollment, normally it's twice as long as the course, so a three year degree must be completed within six years. I sat on the Appeals committee as a student representative, it's surprising how many students run out the clock. One took six years on their first year and was asking for an extension of another six years, hoping to complete level 4 the following year. Unfortunately, the maximum time limit is a regulation set in stone and although we could allow them time to complete the course the fees would apply for every year, a degree could not be awarded if they passed.”

“I love this shop! Excellent choice of jewellery at affordable prices. 5% loyalty scheme which adds more savings. The staff are always lovely and very helpful. We have bought various items of gold jewellery, mens & women's, and have never been disappointed. There is also a 12 months warranty for second hand items which is reassuring. I don't shop anywhere else!”

“Great educational institute. Tutors are exceptional in the Mathematics, Computer Science and Politics department. Great support and high teaching standards. Tutors give their time for students outside of lessons and are approachable. If you want to learn (especially A-Levels), would recommend Coleg Cambria (Yale).”
