“I have been working at Purley Oaks for over 10 years now as a class teacher , both in Year One and Reception. I can honestly say that I love it here. Everyone is so kind and welcoming . We all help each other out no matter what year group we are in or what job role we have - we are a great team! I was advised when I was an NQT to keep moving to different schools but I really don’t want to be anywhere else! In Reception we are a fantastic team and work very closely together. We have such fun and it is amazing to see the children progress throughout the year. I feel that in Early Years we give children a great start to their learning careers!”

“Send my daughter here and this is her second nursery. Very very happy with all the team here. My daughter’s key worker is amazing and genuinely makes us feel our daughter is properly cared for. We stayed for a little bit one afternoon for a Father’s Day stay and play and you could see the bond that they had made. It was heartwarming to see. If we had another baby we wouldn’t hesitate to send them here. Thank you to all the staff for all the amazing work you do!”

Every time I’ve been to Purley Dragon, the food has been incredible — always hot, fresh, and full of flavour. The portions are generous, and you can tell everything is made with care. The staff are genuinely some of the nicest people you’ll meet. They’re polite, welcoming, and always happy to accommodate special requests or dietary needs. You can tell they really care about their customers and want everyone to have a great experience. The restaurant is always clean, cosy, and has such a warm atmosphere — it’s perfect for a takeaway night or a casual meal out. I’ve tried a lot of Chinese places around the area, and none come close to the taste or service here. If you’re hesitating because of the negative reviews, don’t.
