While we were sad to say goodbye to Dr Neeta and Dr Ketan, the transition to the new team has been seamless and reassuring. I recently needed a difficult tooth extraction and was seen by Dr Karan, who took the time to explain the procedure thoroughly beforehand. He was knowledgeable, polite, and incredibly reassuring throughout. On the day of the procedure, he was welcoming and calm, which really helped to put me at ease. The extraction was carried out promptly and smoothly, and it was clear from start to finish that Dr Karan is not only highly experienced but also truly dedicated to his patients’ wellbeing. Following the procedure, I experienced some swelling and bruising and was quickly seen by Dr Hiral. He was equally kind, attentive, and professional. Both Dr Karan and Dr Hiral listened carefully to my concerns and gave clear, helpful advice, which left me feeling genuinely cared for and in very safe hands. “Freshest breakfast in Borehamwood! Barracuda is known for lunch and dinner, but their breakfast deserves far more attention. I had the Mediterranean breakfast with sourdough and an iced coffee — perfectly poached eggs, browned halloumi, fresh avocado and spinach, seasoned olives, and grilled tomato. It’s by far the freshest, most balanced breakfast in the area. Most cafés nearby are just average greasy spoons, but this is on a completely different level. If people don’t support places like this, they won’t last — and Borehamwood will only be left with the bland, profit-driven cafés. This breakfast is being overlooked and deserves more people coming in.”

“We had a pleasant stay at the Ibis hotel, very close to public transport and leisure activity centre. Also a large parking to choose from, so no issue coming here by car. The hotel had a nice atmosphere and a good reception area The rooms were cleaned very well by Gogu and Mariana, so thank you to them. Only beware the bathrooms are rather small, but otherwise would recommend this hotel to anyone considering it.”

“We stay at a lot of Premier Inn’s when going on mini-breaks with the kids and this is probably the favourite one we’ve stayed in. Excellent location, close to Warner Bros / Harry Potter tour. Room (Quad / Family) was clean and spacious. Great air conditioning too. Breakfast (cooked by Frank) was delicious and well presented (Eggs were cooked to order). All of the staff (especially Marie/Maria) were pleasant, friendly and very helpful. The whole place had a nice, relaxed vibe. Would definitely recommend.”

“Amazing food and great service. The 2 of us enjoyed a starter, king Prawns and calamari, and main course each, spaghetti with king Prawns and penne with salmon. All dishes presented beautifully and tasted delicious! Best Italian food compared to Zizzi and Pizza Express. Staff were friendly yet professional especially Melania who served us, always a smile on her face. Highly recommended and will definitely come again soon.”

Goodmans charged £110 for a diagnostic and honestly, it was worth every penny. They thoroughly checked the car multiple times, fixed what needed to be fixed, and made sure everything was right before handing it back. They don’t rush their work, and it really shows. The prices might be slightly higher than your usual backstreet garage, but for the quality of work, they’re actually very reasonable. I also get my MOT done here. Everything is straightforward, no dodginess, no nonsense, just honest, professional service.”

“Having just bought a brand new house, my husband and I had been looking everywhere for a nice dining set and matching living room furniture for both the kitchen and for our dining/living room. We came across Oak Furniture Superstore and were really pleased with the choice of furniture available, especially with the amount of different dining and living room pieces required. We anxiously waited for our delivery to all come in to stock and got a courtesy call from the customer service team when they said they would, advising all was now available and that we'd be contacted by the specialist team to arrange a suitable date. We got a courteous call from the specialist delivery team on Tuesday to book delivery for Saturday, and they called an hour beforehand, were very prompt and were extremely polite. They looked after our furniture, wore shoe bags, assembled everything and took rubbish away! We are absolutely over the moon with our kitchen dining set, our dining room set and the occasional and living room furniture we bought, which matches perfectly and fits in around the sofa's we have. The quality of the furniture is Fantastic and has already been complimented on by family and friends. We would never hesitate to recommend Oak Furniture Superstore to friends and family as the quality, service, and price speaks volumes!”
