Atmosphere in Croydon

“Best Thai in Croydon. Having been to Thailand and tried most Thai outlets around Croydon, I think this is currently the most authentic I’ve experienced. Usually our go to takeaway but went to the restaurant for first time yesterday. Same great food & waitress was amazing; working insanely hard to keep everyone happy. Great job Tuk Tuk!”

The staff were equally wonderful: very welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which made the whole experience even more pleasant. “This restaurant is superb. Everything is homemade, even the chilli and garlic sauces, and the meat is wonderfully spiced and flavoursome. “Out of all the other wood fired pizzas I have tried. This one by far is the best, due to the simple fact that they use sour dough bread. Cannot be beaten . Amazing service! Pizza served with a smile. Would give a 6 star if available.”

“We booked for a large party of us to come late after a local event on a Monday night. We were going to arrive at about the time the kitchen was closing. Amy and the team were absolutely brilliant in making the whole thing work. We pre-ordered food, which was waiting for us when we arrived. Staff stayed late especially - which was amazing. Everyone went above and beyond to accommodate us and could not have been friendlier or more helpful. It was a lovely event - good food, reasonably priced and brilliant staff. Thank you to everyone at The Crown - it was a fab birthday celebration!”

“This restaurant is more than twice the distance of my local one but so worth the extra travel time. The dim sum was exceptional, very high quality and well made. It was also very good value compared to the nearest biggest dim sum restaurant. An unexpected added bonus was the Saturday 1pm raffle which was good fun and very generous of the restaurant. Staff and service was great too. No dedicated parking is the only negative. I highly recommend and I will be returning again soon.”

“Fantastic Chinese. Only one we ever order from. I use to live in Singapore as a child, so was brought up on Chinese food. This Chinese gives excellent service, food and value for money.”
