Authentic experience in Watford

“We were recommended to them by friends. Really pleasantly surprised. Friendly lady took our order and it was correct. Food was still hot when got it home twenty mins later. We will probably get delivery next time. The food was delicious and this is why...in our opinion...it was not sitting in lots of sauces (each dish) it was not soggy. It was not full of monosodium glutamate. So, food tasted good and we were thirsty all night! Noodles, beansprouts and meat was crispier and not covered in sauces. Food was good portion sizes and under £20 for four dishes. Finally, premises looked clean and they are rated well for cleanliness.”

“When we came, it was empty and we were unsure of this place but the menu seemed good enough so we took a chance. The service was immaculate and the staff were so friendly and accommodating to us. Even without onions or garlic, all the food was fresh, tasty, and even managed to retain the character of a home cooked meal. It is definitely a must for anyone looking for a delicious Indian meal.”

“A lovely tasty takeaway delivered on time by a friendly man. The food was seasoned well and they added the extra chillies (as i had requested) just perfectly. First time we have finished a whole takeaway full nothing was left. The staff had recommended a veg dish and starter and both very tasty just what we needed. Very helpful and patient on the phone. Will certainly keep this restaurant as our only option when in watford. Would have ordered more but will do next time.. Thankyou :)”

“Lovely Indian restaurant with ample parking. They have a decent bar and huge seating area. Food was amazing and they have much choices for your taste buds. Some items on the menu are little pricey, however they are large portions. So, its worth for sharing and families. Service was great and we got our items super quickly. Definitely come back again.”

“This was my very first time trying fish & chips in UK. And let me tell you - I WAS AMAZED. Starting from the wonderful older gentleman working the cash register to the cooks in the kitchen. The tar-tar sauce was also wonderful. “Have been coming to cafe hero for some time now and always get the best coffee be it white American (hot milk) , flat white white or mocha served by the lovely Elena and her new members of team Callista who recently has been taking my order and has met all expectations. They are very welcoming, customer friendly and hospitable but above all they serve the best coffee which will not disappoint. Look forward in seeing you both again next week…. Ps the Brazilian coffee beans were amazing, so thank you ☺️”

“Pretty much ever since this place opened we've been meaning to visit and just never really got round to it. Recently we popped in for a quick lunch during some christmas shopping and my main take home is how annoyed I was at waiting so long to visit! We had a bao and dirty fries meal (with a drink) each - both less than a tenner each and so so good. The bao were fluffy with clearly freshly made ingredients (i had the short rib and my partner the fried chicken), both with portions of dirty fries (i had katsu and she had the vietnamese). The portions of fries alone would have made a meal and were so good. If you want fantastic food, freshly cooked and served quickly, at reasonable prices then I can't recommend this place more. My partner said she was really disappointed that we don't live local enough for somewhere like this to be available on a delivery app. Personally i was quite glad it wasn't close enough as i think we'd end up ordering from them several times a week1”

Staff are lovely as always, food is lovely as always. They say delivery can take up to an hour & a half on the weekends but they always deliver alot sooner. Cannot fault you guys”
