The spice and flavor levels were great.The vegetables were crispy and fresh with prawns cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the Crispy duck noodles and did nothing but rave about them while consuming every available bite. The atmosphere of the restaurant is comfortable yet stylish. There is a private dining space downstairs that would be perfect for a family or work event.”

“I can’t believe I haven’t been here sooner! We popped in about 7:30 on a Saturday expecting the sat night London chaos but it was such a good vibe. Even when it’s busy it’s super spacious and the food is AMAZING. We got beef noodles, beef and jasmine rice and chicken winglets and it was all amazing. And the staff are super lovely and helpful with allergy info.”

“What a place! Stumbled across Smoking Goat for lunch and were immediately greeted by friendly staff who found us a table despite no reservation. The food was fantastic and all freshly cooked. Make sure you have the fried chicken as a sharer. Great choice of beers too served in iced glasses.”

“We celebrated with a group of 11 guests and were accommodated (little tight but cozy) in the back room. The food was really excellent with fresh flavors and good service. Loads of vegetarian options and I think we ordered just about every vegetarian starter and main courses. Noteworthy mock duck, lettuce wraps and aubergine stir fry in soybean sauce were my fav. Dessert was ok! Wish they had been more creative with the mains as the bulk were prepared in soybean sauce.”

“I am really surprised this place hasn't got a higher rating. Delicious food, good service, all well presented. A friend took me for my birthday lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Had the mixed starter platter and red curry. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Nicely decorated inside, also has some outdoor seating with great river views.”

“I think the best value platter in southgate. I love a kebab platter, and I loved kervans, but it's getting quite pricey now. I thought I'd try the platter at Ezich and it's great. You get chicken and lamb shish, a kofte, lamb & chicken donor chicken wings, rice, chips and pitta with salad and sauce. You get loads of food, and the chips are great hit with kids. You get all of that for £23 and if you order through the website you get 10% off, so comes to £21 which is unbelievable value. It feeds our family and we have enough to eat the next day. We order this regularly now and have recommended it to friends too. Such good value and tasty. Probably not as high quality as kervan but at less then half the price you really can't beat it. Just a recent update my son now has started a local secondary school. As a treat occasionally he like to go down to the local kebab shop and pick up a student meal. It's great value he usually gets the chick wings with chips and drink meal or the donor with chips and drink meal. Really good value cheaper then a mcdonalds meals so glad it a great local option. So its April 2024 now my review with the previous price was around 2021. The price of the platter has gone up now to £31.50 for the cheapest platter with the 10% discount. I can under standard as previously it was crazy good value and the price of everything has gone up so much now. What i like is they have tweaked the platter now. You get more meat and a drink included now. So the rice comes in a separate container and all the meat in now in the large foil container. Still decent value and our go to place to get a platter if we are felling lazy or entertaining.”

“My family and I really enjoyed our dinner from Oriental Chef. We tried different things and it was all perfect! Very tasty food! The chilli oil is absolutely the best I've had. It is very spicy so for anyone who enjoys spice, definitely try their chilli oil. Service was really good too! I called up to place my order and the woman on the phone was very polite and helpful. Delivery came in 30 minutes. I highly recommend this place.”

The photo is of a chicken and noodle dish all of this for £11. Exceptional value for money and very, very tasty food I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
