“Great sushi spot on Saint John’s Wood ! First, the sushi and the rest of the menu are truly delicious. I sorted at the counter and I had a great experience. Second, the architecture is beautiful. Very contemporary. I have to come back ! I recommend this place if you are around or after going to primrose hill for the sunset. The restaurant is also doing takeaway. I will come back !”
“I don’t exactly what is it, but this poke bowl had one of the best sauces I ever tasted! (And I’ve already eaten many!) Loved the service variety also!”
“Absolutely unreal! We popped in and easily booked a table for 30 minutes later. Once seated, the staff brought us water and even fixed a wobbly table — the attention to detail was brilliant. Service throughout was excellent. We tried a mix of dishes: the beef bulgogi (incredible), yang yum and soy garlic chicken (both delicious), takoyaki (unreal), and agedashi aubergine and chicken katsu — all fantastic. Along with three beers, the total came to just £35 each, which felt like amazing value. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!”
“The service was very quick and super nice. I order the gourmet set and it was super delicious and fresh very much worth the money. I haven’t such good since I was in Japan. Would come again 5 stars Also the miso super very yummy would happily have the miso super”
“Salmon is so fresh and high standard! Debby is so nice and friendly. She introduced how to distinguish a good salmon is. Will definitely come again!”
“I saw this shop online and went there and try their sandwiches which were very good especially the paneer tikka sandwich which was very good and their masala chips were very great which made me remind my childhood and their chai was also very good. Next time I will bring my friends to this place so that they can enjoy the food.”
“I'm not sure what all of the negative reviews are about; this is my first Japanese BBQ; I didn’t even know that there was such a thing. I've tried several Korean BBQ's and the prices for a similar selection of BBQ items is compatible. When I arrived at around 15:00 on a Sunday, the restaurant was empty; no customers whatsoever, this normally sets off alarm bells but Japanese BBQ... That's got to be experienced. Our waiter was attentive and efficient, he explained the process of the using BBQ, but I have to admit I did have to prompt him to get the information else we would have had more food stuck to the BBQ grill. He stated that a BBQ serving was suitable for an individual; I would agree to that if you didn't want any starters or side dishes. We also added Gyoza and noodles; I think that it was a little too much, I think that a single platter for one is correct if you haven't eaten for a few days. We chose one selection the chefs choice of mixed meats and one selection of seafood; we ate it all but I felt uncomfortably full afterwards; so much for my plan of a "light lunch". I will eat here again as I love Korean BBQ and this is on par with that with the advantage of not having to travel to New Malden.”
“Delicious and fresh sushi, honestly didn’t expect such good quality from an Asda but definitely on par with restaurant standard for a much lower price. The owner was helpful and very friendly, customer service at its best!”
“I had a fantastic experience at Sushi Point - Kew Bridge! The Prawn Katsu Curry, Sashimi and Matcha Mochi was absolutely delicious, and the staff, Ali and Neha, were so welcoming and accommodating. Great food and excellent service. It’s so good!”
“Absolutely loved it. Went to London to visit my sister whose office is right in front of Panzers at St Johns Wood and while she was busy working she asked me pop down and grab us some sushi for lunch. Loved it so much that I asked her to have it again for dinner at home the next day. The quality was amazing, cannot believe you get such good sushi without having to go to a high-end restaurant as it happens back home in Spain. Highly recommendable!”
“Staff member Alexander is an asset to Itsu, he catered for my dietary requirements today and made me feel most welcome. Thank you”
“I've ordered a starter box with four items. The food was delightful and with good portions. Chicken karaage, honey lime chicken, chicken gyoza and pumpkin crokette were my recommendations.”
“I was craving for Japanese food and I found this family owned place at a walking distance to my flat (Around Kensington Olympia). Arrived around 7 ish pm and they asked us if we had a reservation, we were surprised since the place was almost empty. We didn’t but they kindly allocated us two spots next to the kitchen/bar. Few minutes later we realised why they asked, around 8pm the place was packed as if people agreed to arrive all at the same time. It was all suddenly cause we weren’t paying attention to anything but to the preparation of our order and enjoying our food. The quality and the flavour was unparalleled and as one gentleman who sit next to us mentioned: “This is the best Japanese restaurant outside of Japan I have ever tried, and I’ve been in Japan many times” We didn’t argued, the food was great and in the matter of taste no one has the last word, but this place could probably be so: The best Japanese out of Japan. Totally recommend”
“I became a take away fan of this place since I discovered during the lockdown and the true is that they never have let me down. I love their party platter as I can share and taste a bit of everything with my friends, their hand rolls and the poke bowls also are on the top of my favourites!. Great food, nice presentation and the service always above the usual...”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem of Sushi Excellence! If you’re looking for a truly authentic sushi experience, look no further! This family-run sushi spot is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and hospitality that makes you feel like part of the family. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure you’re comfortable and well taken care of. Now, let’s talk about the food — WOW. Every dish is a masterpiece. The sushi is unbelievably fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. You can taste the care and passion that goes into every bite. Whether you’re trying the classics or something more unique from the menu, everything is prepared to perfection. Special shout-out to the chef — your skill and dedication are truly something special. The precision, creativity, and love you put into your craft are what make this place stand out. It’s not just a meal here — it’s an experience. This place has quickly become one of my favorites. If you love sushi (or even if you’re just curious to try), do yourself a favor and check it out. You’ll fall in love with the food — and the people behind it.”
“I had a really good experience at You Me Sushi. The food was fresh, tasty, and well-presented with plenty of options to choose from. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Service was quick, and the atmosphere felt relaxed. Prices are fair for the quality, and everything came nicely packed for takeaway. Overall, a reliable spot for sushi lovers—I’ll definitely be coming back!”
“I have eaten sushi all over the world, including Japan and mostly major USA cities at some of the best places-this was the best sushi I have ever eaten, hands down. The place is very small (japan style) low ceiling, one chef...just incredible taste and texture. We went early, about 4:15pm for dinner, took a chance and glad we did. No alcohol here either FYI.”
“A nice Japanese restaurant in Twickenham. The food taste is similar to what I had when visited Japan a few months ago. The sushi and chirashi taste really good. If you are visiting Twickenham, this restaurant worth a visit.”
“Great service, loved the suggestions for our drinks and food. Will definitely return.”
“Everything about this place is amazing. From the food to the drinks. The coffee reminds you of the Italian one with the price and taste. Shakil mama with his great customer service will make your time here worth your while. I recommend the Katsu Curry and the Momo’s. Their noodles are delicious too. Made by their Chef Roman, the main man.”
“My wife and I have always loved Korean food. Been to many places around the UK, have friends from Korea, and have been to Seoul as well. This is a great place. It has that Korean homemade feel to their food. Not going to lie, it’s not flashy food, it’s not trying to be in your face, it’s not instagrammable. It isn’t overly spiced. It’s not trying to adhere to the local palette. Instead, it feels genuine, fresh, and from the heart-like a lovely homemade meal. To us that defines what a 5 star review should be. Thank you for such a delicious meal!”
“The food is absolutely amazing. The presentation on the plate is just gorgeous. I love eel and tuna the most. The lack of music makes this place a bit too loud with all the people talking. They could play some lo-fi or other relaxing music. Also the waiter seems too shy and not too talkative, like he's afraid of people or trying to run away from customers. Anyway it's another positive visit here. Definitely coming back again soon.”
“Necco was a delightful find in London. The food was authentic Japanese (as was the staff, we had a great time reminiscing about our trip to Japan with them!) The chicken teriyaki was cooked perfectly, as was th salmon teriyaki. For dessert we had the Sakura Mochi. It was a bit small, so buy one for each person. But it was delicious - make sure to eat it with the mint leaf that is wrapped around it - the contrasting flavors are something I've never tasted before. Finally, the matcha lattes were great, with a strong matcha flavor (but not overpowering). We bought quite a lot of merch (5 tshirts, a hat, and tote bag). The graphics are awesome and unique, and the staff was highly appreciative. Before we left for the evening, we asked the server if we could get a picture with her, and the whole staff got into the photo! It was one of the best experiences we had in London. Make sure to visit!!!”
“What a lovely place. Was passing by and was looking for a place to eat, and was blown away by how good this place is. Will definitely come back here again. Hidden away from the Main Street, it’s easy to miss, but has the most widest menu, and just delicious items that you want order all of them. We had the scallops carpaccio which was absolutely amazing and we had Yakitori Don which was very good too. Highly recommend and will be back here for more.”
“Yoshisushi really brings Korea to London in all the right ways. In the heart of Hammersmith this restaurant serves the tastiest sweet and spicy Korean fried chicken (boneless), bullgogi beef and wakame salad. Most restaurants charge for the side dishes i.e. kimchi, beansprouts etc. however, this restaurant serve them on the house which are a refreshing accompaniment. The portion sizes were much larger than expected despite the prices being very reasonable. All of the people working in the restaurant are friendly, polite and helpful. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience & it will most likely become a regular date night spot. Many thanks!”
“It’s great to be able to enjoy such delicious curry rice at such a cheap price. The staff are also friendly and polite. I’ll definitely come again.”
“My girlfriend and I went to 'Wow Simply Japanese' tonight. It was simply incredible. Such a loverly hostess and amazing food! Honestly, the best supirse was the value for money with exceptional quality, and the range of options available was amazing! Will definitely be bringing friends and family here in future! Also, definitely get the Banana Katsu desert!!!”
“Stopped in here on a quiet Sunday night and ordered quite a few rolls and other items. The rolls were massive. One would have worked for me. The man working the front of the shop was very sweet”
“Very unique place. They make everything fresh at point of order for you. Very attentive when dining in. We always go there as a family to eat. The food is super fresh and tastes delicious! Highly recommend it!”
