“Came here for lunch on a saturday without a booking and got a table without having to wait. The food was delicious, especially the pressed sushi thing. Honestly I've never had sushi like that before and i loved it. We also had a nice coffee after. Definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner!”

“We visited on a Sunday morning, it was quiet and fully stocked. The young lady who served us was friendly and very nice to us. We ordered a mixed box of sushi, plain cucumber and salmon. It was so tasty that we forgot to take photos of the food beforehand, so thats why there's only half of the sushi in the photos. We visit here quite regularly.”

“Wasabi is a popular place to go for a lunch if you like Asian food. I went for the katsu curry which essentially made this place popular. I also went for the chicken gyoza (dumplings). The chicken katsu is pretty much a perfected art. The chicken is breaded and decent but does feel a little mass produced. The rice is sticky and there’s a good balance with the meat. The sauce is delicious and there’s never enough :) I always want more of it! The gyoza wasn’t so great, it’s a bit rubbery compared to high end so I’m not going to give it full marks. I’ve eaten the maki and salmon here in the past and it’s pretty good for something high street and not massively expensive. Overall it’s decent and I will go again”

“I had a fantastic experience at Wasabi! The staff were amazing, noticing I was struggling to carry everything and stepping in to help. The miso soup was piping hot with delicious tofu chunks and plenty of spring onions. Service was incredibly quick, and the place was spotless—a great spot to dine in. My meal was affordable, with perfectly cooked chicken that was tender and juicy, and the cucumber hosomaki was crisp and fresh. I stopped by for a quick bite before heading to Victoria Coach Station, and I’m so glad I did. Highly recommend!”

The service is 5 star because the staff not only did their job, but they also helped me out when I was struggling with my Onigiri. “I really like the food - the vegan options. I usually have the yasai rolls, the dragon one is amazing but the regular one is too. I like that it is conveniently packed for takeaway. I haven't yet eaten in but I noticed the price is different for eat in or takeout - with takeout price being lower. Very reasonably priced good quality food. A good range of vegan options, though depending on the size of the store - I bought from different branches but all usually have several vegan options. Pictured is the dragon yasai roll, I also had a sushi selection and other vegan options.”

“Staff are very lovely. Food is well priced if you’re taking out- you can get a pretty decently sized sushi platter for £6-8, which costs £10-12 if eaten inside. There’s a good amount of seating available outside of rush hours. The salmon dragon roll is really nice. Not sure what the soy sauce and condiments situation is like; the food didn’t come with it nor could I see it on shelves anywhere.”

This is good cuisine and one of the go to eateries for local workers. Highly recommended if you like substantial and filling food.”
