“I lived in the round the corner for twenty years and only just tried this place. It was a great breakfast with the best toast in the area, wish I'd started going sooner.”

“Went here last Thursday as heard they did a good quiz night. Had a burger and a couple of pints of Guinness zero; burger was top notch, proper gourmet stuff and we really enjoyed the quiz, we somehow won! Only downside was that it was a bit quiet, probably helped us win the quiz though. Staff were great, very friendly and welcoming.”

“Great furniture store and cafe. We had to return some furniture as we ordered the wrong item our mistake. The return process was easy you just enter a code then go to a till 40 seconds and it was all done. We then headed upstairs to try the cafe, it was breakfast time so that's what we had I tried the £2.99 vegetarian breakfast it was delicious the coffee tasted good also. For the price and quality it without a doubt its a great breakfast stop. Someone on the reviews said on their visit the cafe was dirty, on my visit I found the cafe area spotless and fresh throughout. My appreciation to the cleaning staff thanks. After that we headed through the store again I really enjoyed it I found no faults whatsoever. Disabled access is brilliant throughout. My only concern was all the staff we encountered were very unhappy and non engaging without any exceptions such a shame, perhaps its not a good place to work maybe.”

“I had an amazing experience at Nando’s thanks to Vinnie! From the moment I walked in, he was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. He made sure everything was perfect – checking in during the meal, recommending great menu items, and even making sure our order came out just right. You could tell he genuinely cared about creating a great customer experience. It’s rare to see service with such a personal touch. “I called for an emergency appointment got one the same day. I am a nervous person when it comes to go to the dentist. But today I felt at ease . Lovely dentist who helped with my problem. And he’s assistant Faye was also brilliant. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Receptionist was great and gave a friendly welcome. Thank you .”

“Visited for the Japanese cheesecake initially and to introduce a friend to this place as they are more local than me. Loved the selection of hot/cold drinks. Sat in even shared a table with other visitors which I thought was so nice and brought back the good times where people actually converse! Carrot cake was divine it was moist and tasty. Was there so long sat to near closing time! The basement has a really nice ambience to it aswell I'd come back again.”

“The overall dining experience was truly delightful, and the food comes in very generous portions. I ordered the Lamb Cutlets, which is my preferred dish at every restaurant I visit, and the serving here was easily the best size I have ever encountered. The dish consisted of four substantial pieces, and the portion was definitely satisfying. I left the restaurant feeling completely full and content. I would highly recommend this establishment and plan to visit again soon. The staff was also friendly and exceptionally helpful, adding to the overall positive atmosphere.”

Rosie & Shanel took care of my hair brilliantly, from the moment I walked in the door I felt completely confident and reassured they know their stuff and could help! Being a family owned & run business the atmosphere in the salon is very friendly and relaxed, which is perfect for me as I am very low maintenance! I left the salon feeling a thousand times better and full of helpful tips and advice on how to get the best out of my new hair colour, and really happy knowing I have found a great new local salon. They also have a beauty therapy room, run by Lauren the therapist, who does nails, waxing & massages etc, didn’t have a treatment this time, next time! They also sell authentic Italian products - pasta, oils, pasta sauces. Also delicious looking cakes, which I didn't try, as focaccia was substantial! Friendly, helpful staff.”
